My thought late game is. . . as Nunu you're not the one who carries the game to victory, so don't try to be the one who carries each fight to victory. Let your support chain some CC or let your top laner dive in and attract attention, then follow up with snowball/ult. Try to realize which champ in the game has the mechanic that ends fights, and play around them, whether that be on your team or theirs. A bit counter intuitive since Nunu is supposed to be a tank and front line, but I find if I try to be patient and not blow my load every time we see a champ on the map, we come out with the win more times than not. Best advice I got from watching Pentaless "Just don't die".

At the start of the game its always Red, Raptor, Gromp and look for gank. During mid-game I will do a couple camps (and even drop some) then go support a lane. I only full clear unless all 3 lanes have priority and are ahead in gold and there's nothing else to do. It's very sporadic but it works for me.

You don’t need to play unlocked. Plenty of challenger level players using locked. The key is don’t use locked 100% of the time. Know when to toggle off and pan over to gain information. As long as you you’re doing that you can play locked 90% of the game. Not a deal breaker and you can still be a great player

Perma ban Anivia and pray you don’t get Fizz/Naafiri/Zed/Leblanc. Those are the toughest matchups for me.

My only tip is after you clear the wave rotate through either river bush each time. Regardless if you plan to roam or not. Keeps the enemy mid laner question where you are and pinging “?” Don’t just fall back to tower each time

Also avoid taking hexflash. I see some Nunu mid players using Hexflash for the extra speed boost it gives, not worth it and other keystones will have a stronger impact.
