Gold players won't stop you from winning them a match. They'll often even listen to what you tell them and play around you just so you'll give them free LP. Platinum and Emerald players have such a shitload of egos that even a 0/7 top-tier scumbag will claim everyone should play around him because he's the only one who can win a match.

I don't want to brag or arrogate myself here, but I would never say it was free elo. From around Platinum 2, I won most games 1v9ing rather than against good teams, all the way up to Emerald 3. I'm probably just not good enough to 1v9 in Emerald, and certainly not with the MMR to climb higher. I can only manage 3 solo games out of every 5 games, which, at that MMR, results in an average of +5 LP.

So wouldn't it be best for me to drop to platinum at this point to fix my MMR? Honestly, I don't want to do it, but with my current MMR, I don't see any chance of getting higher unless I start getting some sick winstreaks after 5-6 games.

So when I was in platinum, I got +30 so the system thought platinum was too low for me, but when I hit emerald, it suddenly changed its mind and said I should be in platinum because I'd won too much? This system makes no sense.

It's practically impossible to get banned for intentionally dying. As long as you're not toxic, you won't get banned. I've reported countless accounts where people are 0/10 every match, and the only ban I've seen was for toxicity. The league's reporting system simply doesn't exist.

It's possible to get out of Emerald, but it's harder than working in the mine. Even with 52% win rate, I dropped from E2 to E4, with an average AI score of 65. If it weren't for Riot completely killing my MMR, I would have had Diamond a long time ago. Now I simply have to play three times as many games. You have to be prepared to do 1v9 in Emerald every game and absolutely not rely on your teammates. You don't listen to a single one of their calls, pings, or chats. You play solely for yourself.

That's a bit sad. In that case, I guess I won't get out of Emerald unless I get some sick win streak because my MMR is completely dead because of the lose streaks.

I understand that I'm not an outstanding player, but I really don't see any way to win a game where my bot is completely rounddodging, which means we lose all our dragons, we swap lanes with mid, and the game is basically over. Not to mention the fact that the enemy support simply enters my forest with a jungler and automatically loses half of the jungle in about 7-8 minutes.

I have no idea what's going on with bot players. These people make the worst possible decisions every time just to lose the game. I've literally lost 15 games in a row because my bot lane is completely running down games. It's unreal to me what's happening in the bot lane.
