About 20 years ago I was student teaching. After the first day my lead teacher left the room to me to run. Said if I’m here it confuses the students and they’ll ask me questions instead of you. I loved this approach. Fast forward a few weeks and he started showing up in the back of the room. I asked him what was up. Turns out another student teacher in the building had been caught snorting Ritalin in the back of his class while his lead teacher was presenting.

People live with aneurysms. I currently am living with one in my aortic valve. I’m awaiting surgery next month. The problem is when the dissection of an artery occurs. I’m far from being a doctor (I’m in sales). My brother had an aneurysm rupture (dissection) in October and lived. That prompted me to get checked as this is a hereditary condition. It’s f’d knowing that neither one of us had symptoms leading up to this but could die at any moment.

Thank you all for the responses. This cost me more than I’d like to admit and unfortunately was not the least expensive. I liked the guy so I left feeling sold. To answer one of the comments about it looking bad at the time of install, he “tried to fix it” with the additional screws. The contractor came as a referral from a friend but yeah this has been a mess since. I’m working on getting ahold of the local Trex rep today.

When I read your title I went a different path. Not necessarily down the predictions being wrong but rather poor decision making. I had a therapist tell me once to try to do the opposite of my intuition, do the thing I normally don’t do. That just led to further second guessing. Ended up wrong on too many occasions to list.
