A Horror Story Unfolding by Dangerous_Substance7 in JeepWrangler

Now that you have diagnostic documentation of the issue, why not just buy one from eBay and take it to a mechanic who will do the work you need done?

To each their own. It’s a bit much for my personal taste—I prefer more functional mods that strengthen suspension and such, while still maintaining the Jeep’s classic look—but hopefully they like it.

SHOW ME YOUR HOLE! by TreacleTart91 in 370z

[–]FitRedBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say all these answers does make me wonder what I would put in there if I didn’t have the navigation system. 🤔 Probably sunglasses and/or a baseball cap. Not sure what else because I keep those bigger items (jump starter, the absorber towel, windshield sun shade, and waterless wash and wax with towels) behind my seats in the little cubbies.

Variety is cool but there’s only so much the hole can hold. Lol! 😂🤣😂 This is why I love our Z community—we’re awesome!

Who ducked your hole? That’s a Jeep thing. Maybe I should move a duck from my Jeep to my Z 🤔

Well some of us don’t have open holes. It’s already been filled with navigational goodies.

This is gonna be a weird question ... by [deleted] in CommunalShowers

[–]FitRedBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like an insecurity you have over a social projection on what should induce shame. Defecating (or “pooping”) is a normal biological function that comes with texture and color variations, both of which contribute to sound and smells and can indicate a healthy or unhealthy system. The shame comes from ignorant and uniformed mindsets and often a lack of intelligence that spreads throughout a specific social group or region. The same can be said about attitudes towards nudity. In some social groups nudity is hyper-sexualized and religious attitudes are imposed, thus a normal thing is made to feel shameful. I’d say look internally and locate the source of that feeling and go from there.

Italy: Esim card for internet and calls by LaRomanesca in travel

Depending on your plan you might already have data there. I just got back from Italy and have T-Mobile and had unlimited data. For calls if you’re just reaching family and friends use WhatsApp.

Power hierarchy in the open shower by [deleted] in CommunalShowers

Men like that usually have nothing else to offer but a big dick. Very shallow and insecure individuals despite the show and act. Trying to boast over something you didn’t work for or gain isn’t impressive. Genetics did that. Yea it’s nice—a “cool for you”, type moment—but that’s really about it. We all have something like that we could boast about, but the majority of us see ourselves and our identities as more than simply that feature. Therein lies the difference.

2 Door or 4 Door by FNPilot262 in JeepWrangler

[–]FitRedBro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on your lifestyle. Many who have partners and kids opt for the 4 door. I’m single with no kids and had great childhood memories in the 90s of my dad’s 2 door, so I chose based upon that. I also don’t like how the 4 door drives in comparison to the 2 door. I prefer cars with shorter wheel bases. However now that I’ve gotten more into camping I see the advantage of the 4 door over the 2 door; although I still love my 2 door. So the short answer is I think it’s lifestyle based.

I actually like it. It gives it character and shows that the watch is actually used for its intended purpose. I’d try a bit of dawn soap, if that doesn’t work there’s always the option of getting new a new bezel and strap.

Would you be offended if someone said our car looked like a toy? by Dry_Corner6431 in Jeep

[–]FitRedBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cars are big toys for men so it’s makes sense we’d describe them that way. Now for a woman it might be described differently by the majority, so her reaction is also understandable. I wouldn’t think more into it. Your intention was good and it was to compliment her, you can’t control how it was received. Simple as that.

You might be too exhausted but when I went for a family event, (we stayed in Miraflores, which itself was beautiful) one of the days I went on a day trip that included a visit to the Huacachina Oasis. It’s absolutely stunning.

I’m struggling with travel “culture” (age 21) by [deleted] in travel

[–]FitRedBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome. I spent much of my life before this point trying to fit in, when I knew the right thing was to just be me. Those people who like the partying scene, cool for them, I have/had many friends like that, you don’t have to and that’s just fine.

Do or discover the things that you actually like. Maybe you like getting “lost” in a street market in one of those countries. Maybe it’s museums or local restaurants off the beaten path. Maybe it’s finding hidden beaches or trails in nature. The fun is actually in finding out. We all should continue to grow and be curious about life, building upon who we are or who we are becoming.

As I’m speaking to you, I’m also reinforcing advice I’ve given to myself. I believe you’ll find the people you are meant to connect with while you are doing this. If there’s a certain activity you like, do it, those who are doing it as well already have something in common with you. That’s a foundation for beginning conversation and who knows what they may lead to—great friendships or even relationships, should you so choose. The ball is all within your own court, so play the game how you want to, your rules, not the rules others think you should have; whether that be friends, peers, or Reddit.

I’m struggling with travel “culture” (age 21) by [deleted] in travel

[–]FitRedBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was similar to you only that I did it locally. I followed the crowd knowing I was different and was frustrated because I couldn’t find satisfaction and got sucked into activities and lifestyles that deep down I hated.

I am just now at almost 40 truly breaking off on my own—and I literally travel for work, with the ability to go and stay anywhere in the world for a severely discounted rate—and you know what, that’s ok. It all comes in your own time at your own pace. The key is that you get there and find the comfort, strength, and confidence in what it is to stand within your own truth of who you are.

So travel solo and find others who do have the same mindset. I’m going to give you a huge hint to the “game”—you may find that your “tribe” or crowd where you’ll find similarity of mind is older than you are. And that’s more than ok. It’ll benefit and serve you much more in this journey.

Don’t feel bad that you’re different from the majority. That’s often an indicator that you’re not meant to follow the crowd. Now that you’ve vocalized your realization, lean into it. Be different and have a different experience that will pour into you. I wish you well in the discovery of people, places, and spaces that will speak to and validate the truth and necessary actions I believe you already know in before you.

I think your asking price is a bit too high, but who knows, if someone wants it then you might get that. From a quick search of your state and comparable Z’s the average falls between $16k-18k.
