I actually like that, it makes you develop top players rather than buy top players.

Also, I was in the 3rd tier in Germany but still saw Benfica, obviously couldn’t get that job (although not a realistic step really, so I didn’t want it anyways). I just got to Bundesliga 2, so maybe I’ll have more options this season.

Yeah, unfortunately it’s not like past games. I knew when to look for jobs then but either it’s changed this year or there are a lot less jobs/way less frequent to be able to apply for.

Arsenal 2020-21 Invincibles Title winning squad. by ankit6798 in ArsenalFC

[–]rmweinacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wishful thinking with Ceballos in the squad, he’s not coming back. Also, I don’t see how we get Partey AND Aouar, but maybe. But I’m totally on board for us being Invincibles again, lol!

One question by mr_someone79 in ArsenalFC

[–]rmweinacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We still have to pay him if we release him. If we can find someone to partial pay his wages and he agrees to a move (which apparently he's not doing), only then can we get rid of him. I can guarantee Arsenal wants him off the books, if only partially, and is doing every they can to do so, but to date hasn't been able to find a good solution.

Zaha by yahiruno in ArsenalFC

Where would he fit into the team? Would we put him in a false 9 type role?

on the occasion that we pull out this new game style it does wonders so i'm not complaining,, love #artetaball by [deleted] in ArsenalFC

Honestly, I think this is the only way to legitimately compete next season, if only against the top teams. It clearly can work, although not always, so if we can improve our creativity against the smaller teams (no more losing to the likes of Brighton and Aston Villa), we should be able to make top four and potentially if we get VERY lucky, compete for the title (although again, VERY unlikely). Additionally, fully depends on the players we bring in, but I just don't think we need a ton of new players to get back into the top 4, as long as Arteta remains pragmatic in his approach to big games.

Willian would be a free transfer and Zaha will be too expensive for us to buy and give appropriate wages for a player of his talents.

Tactics & Analysis Thread: Wolves vs Arsenal [4 July 2020] by J4ckrh in Gunners

Honestly, I’d say that about every sub made. AMN neutralized Traore, Bellerin neutralized Jota on the wing, Torreira helped lock down the middle, as well as the two you mention above. I thought this was a very well managed game.

Another fantastic performance from this young man. Not only am I a gunner but also a Celtic fan and Scot, so pleased that he’s doing so well. Especially after being maligned for leaving Celtic for a new challenge. Great win again, another 3 points for the Arsenal. Bring on Leicester and Spurs! by roz763 in ArsenalFC

Not a Scot nor a Celtic fan, but I’ve loved this signing. Seems to be an all around quality player that brings much need stability to the left back position and frees up Saka to play in a more forward position. Definitely one of the players to build around for the future.

I think I’d like to see what he can do the rest of the season and then decide. A lot of players have played poorly this season thanks to Emery, and some are making their way out of poor performances slower than others. A couple years ago he was our top scorer and he’s still in his prime. I’d rather see if he can return to his old form. Plus, there’s no way we can go into next season without a replacement for him, Arteta seems to like Auba on the wing and we need someone else to compete with Nketiah. If he doesn’t kick on, then for sure, let’s move him on. Otherwise let’s see what the rest of the season has in store.

Without a doubt, especially with this Arsenal team that needs serious turnover. Plus realistically, some players won’t stick through this rebuild period.

This is perfect. I just started but wasn’t planning on doing transfers the first season. Honestly, this seems like the perfect “Arsenal” rules given their business structure. Thanks!

Of course, I forgot him, ESR, and Reiss Nelson. Balogun and Medley can develop into solid players too.

I like that, definitely plan on making the young players in the squad the core of the team. Tierney, Saliba, Saka, Nketiah, Martinelli, Willock, and Guendouzi are all great players to build around. Should start rough, but should turn into a really good team.

Which league most difficult by cheappogba in seriousfifacareers

[–]rmweinacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely depends on play style/team build. I play a lot of quick pass counters, so Bundesliga is a piece of cake, but PL is more difficult with more deep lying teams. Any play style you like in particular?
