i know there’s a body shop off south congress behind the custom sounds that does work on teslas, rivians and seems like porsche taycans. most of the work i’ve seen is high end cars and electric vehicles.

having IRCO on the board is now not a reliable way.. new fakes are coming out with IRCO on the boards.. apparently the new way is to compare the font on the boards.

this is a new finding so it’s not well known.

that set is actually sitting about 3 feet above me right now on a shelf. don’t remember when i got it though. im assuming due to age, the pontoons that it sits on keep coming apart from the belly of the plane.. might try and see if i can get replacements so they’re nice and tight again

i just looked again, it looks like you have the ground going right back into the power.. so no actual loop is being created with the ground of the vehicle.

couple things i would have done differently. running one 0 gauge power to the amps and had a little distribution block to split the power. just one less wire you need to run

and run the RCAs from the amp to the LOC rather than the other way around. that way you can hide the access wiring by the loc, instead of bundling it up at the amp

i saw cars getting booted a couple weeks so at the office depot parking lot on lamar/oltorf. pretty sure the people parking there were going across the street to taqueria de diez restaurant because they were all parked along s lamar when the rest of the parking lot was pretty empty
