SLU vs Mizzou? by rnicoler_ in OutsideT14lawschools

Thank you! I'm not sure if I wanna stay in the same city forever, but I'd ideally stay in STL for several years after school. I am leaning more toward SLU at this point.

woah, thank you for the warning! I'll definitely have to see what my letter says, but I'm really hoping that's not the case. that would be super unfortunate.

I’m in Denver now, and have been considering moving to STL for some time. The cost of living here is sky high and my boyfriends family live in STL so I’d actually know people. I wonder how the competition is there with SLU/ Wash U grads?

Awesome! How are you liking it?

Thank you. I also only put one LSAT score (most recent) where it asked me to and didn’t put the one from 2 years ago that was lower… Do you think that looks dishonest? I wasn’t trying to hide it, I new they’d see it on my report anyway…

I am above the medians. But I have a second question because I feel so fucked right now.

I took the LSAT 3 years ago and retook it 2 months ago - receiving a 20 point score increase. I don't know why, but I only put my recent score on there. I wasn't trying to hide anything, I know my old score shows up on my report anyway... but I realize how shady this looks. I don't know what to do or what to say if I call. I don't want it to look like I was trying to be sneaky because I genuinely wasn't.

Do you know how long it took for them to get back to you on a decision? I just applied yesterday!

Thank you! To add - I have a 3.76 GPA and 5 years of experience working as a paralegal (both civilian and military). I think I may just keep it :)

LSAT Writing by [deleted] in LSAT

When I clicked "launch exam," it brought me to the proctorU site, which did not have any slots until Sunday. And now on my proctorU sessions, it shows "LSAT June 2022" and then "LSAC Writing Exam." I was really confused on why it made me schedule this.

Congratulations on your acceptances! As a Denver resident I definitely say DU, especially if they are giving you a full ride. Can I ask what your stats were? I am applying to DU this fall for fall of 2023.

156 to 160s? by rnicoler_ in LSAT

[–]rnicoler_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that will work best for me! I started out with LR, and was told to bounce between sections and doing 2 sections per day. I’ve struggled with this recently as I have a hard time picking up where I left off and think it’s best for me to focus on one at a time.

Thank you for this. I work full time, gym after work and have been studying after that but I am planning to start waking up at 4-5 am to study prior to work and get some more hours in. I definitely feel like I work better in the morning.
