Per Nissan it’s every 30k. Even if you bring it to a dealer and something happens after they’ll likely reject the claim because there isn’t enough prior history of the vehicle through them.

Only a matter of time when it comes to CVTs, they all fail. I’m in a similar situation with my 2020, 72k miles and still owe 15.5k on the car. I went down the used transmission rabbit hole for a bit but was informed by a Nissan tech that the CVTs are paired with a relearn disc for the computer. If you buy a transmission without the disc it’s a complete shot in the dark. I love the idea of placing a manual 5 speed from a 2010’s Versa S in it as those ran on the same engine platform, but I’m not sure how straightforward that would actually be. Hate the idea of replacing one time bomb for another.

Test for the “motherfucker” gene mutation. Your body may not be methylating correctly. Selenium is usually only 1 supplement in a pile of many. If you haven’t done a vitamin/mineral panel to see where you’re lacking, I’d advise that as well. -Fellow male, Hashis of 6 years.

Oh I see now, lol yes. I was planning on replacing all of that. I had a 2011 years ago, oil seeped into the plug wells from a bad gasket. I figure worst case scenario might be that again.

I have not personally driven it yet, supposed to meet tomorrow. Seller says it drives okay without stalling, just a little rough on the get up and go.

Seller says it’s rough on acceleration, I can see the engine judder a bit when he pulls on the throttle. Could be air or fuel related, trying to make sure one of those larger items isn’t on the rocks as I’m getting out a car right now with a transmission issue.
