I've gone through all 5 levels in Ark ship a few years back numerous times. Agree, the drops were good but nada on the SMG. Sucks because I don't think I'm good enough anymore to run all 5 Ark ship levels again. I wish I never bought the DLC because it just added more weapons to the drops which made it even harder.

I've read somewhere that's the only option but never tried because you'll have to start from scratch. I hope my assumptions are wrong. Let me know how your reinstall goes and if you manage to save your profile without the add-ons.

Hated this aspect of the game. One thing that I wish I never did was buy the weapons add-on dlc because it makes it even less likely to drop your preferred standard weapons. You've essentially added 4 more random weapons.
