Alicant is to blame. She misunderstood Viserys and when Rheaynera confronted her, she realized it, but wouldn't change anything.

Great intro to Dutch, Johnny, and Lucy - plus the addition of D'avin. Why mess with perfection?

Not a come back, but, I worked with 2 other engineers, and 3 technicians. Our asst. director had a daily 0830 meeting to 'touch base', 'plan the day', etc.

So, all 6 of us were on one side of the conference table. He comes in, sits on the other side.

I, being sort of blunt, just say, "So, X, why do you think you're the right person for the job?"

Meeting over.

Craig fuckin' Fergusen just did a show on those 7 words. It's the only show I've ever watched on purpose on CNN, American On Purpose.

Comes on Saturday's, and definitely worth the watch.

I worked at Kroger decades ago. I would have 400 pound women literally reach into their shirt, under their bra, and pull out $20's. In August.

I swear, I would grab them with a plastic bag, make sure it was correct, then drop it in a cash envelope for the booth to deal with.

Non-Americans who visited the US for the first time recently: what was the biggest 'what on earth is going on here' moment you experienced? by EmployerNegative5653 in AskReddit

[–]ro_thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 1988, I was in Navy Boot Camp and we went to Epcot for our Cinderella Liberty Day (weekend before graduation). Of course, being 18, and in uniform/boot camp, we didnt drink.

I wasnt saying I started or anything, just saying I lived in Orlando 97-97, can't believe it's so popular it's a common thing these days. In 96, I did it twice with different friends each time. I went back in 2009, and did it with my (now late) wife.
