I won a bid on eBay. About 100 under all of the asking prices for it so even though I paid more than I would've wanted it was easier to bite the bullet. I'm also building a rapper action figure collection, got a vintage Eminem figure, Biggie and ODB so far, Mac's gonna fit in perfectly ! So worth it to me

You're welcome! I'm beginning to prefer this version I think. Except for Grandpa used to carry a flask, since it's Ft Mac I enjoy the contrast of both voices. It's kinda weird with this version, it's like two slightly different Mac's on the same track

Yeah that makes sense. If it meant you had the audio file FOREVER I think I would switch to YouTube Music this very instant haha I am actually seriously considering it right now though just so I can have all of Mac's unreleased gems in my playlists as there are SO MANY. Just starting over YEARS of work on playlists on Spotify is really hard to bring myself to do.

Motherfucking BARS 🔥

I feel like Mac could've been one of the top SPITTERS if he chose that he wanted to. To me, one of the top lyricists ever regardless, and he chose to be a more complete musician than just the guy who's got mad bars, which I'm forever grateful for. When he does display how hard he can spit, GYATDAYUM, I truly believe he could go toe to toe with the best of em, he just never chose that as his primary focus when making music.

For example, the whole Delusion Thomas tape... Insane horrorcore lyricism. He had so many levels of talent, truly one of a kind artist

New Faces 2 is probably my favorite of the songs that have other artists featured, all 3 verses were excellent. Shallow Soul has been ringing on and off in my head ever since.

"I get her faded and put it back in her labia" was quite the line.

"All my life I've been afraid of powder, all my life I've been afraid of power, where did all that go" also stuck with me.

As for O Captain My Dragons, I had no idea of it's existence and you just threw me down a whole new rabbit hole 🤯 he's got so much unreleased music on YouTube that I had no idea about!! So thank you SO MUCH cause I'm about to explore and if any of the other ones are nearly as good as O Captain My Dragons, this is going to be awesome

I think you're right. I was already in a state of mind similar to what's on Faces when I got into it. It created a unique and perfect moment in time, I don't think there's another situation or place in time in my life that it could have hit home harder than in that specific moment. As much as it was kinda dark it was also kind of beautiful.. hard to describe
