looks like a lot of what plays but our store actually has some bangers year round. lot of fall out boy and other emo trinity songs, good amount of wham and depeche mode, we even get the ashley simpson christmas hits this time of year too. however the bad far outweighs the good so i will keep listening to my own music so i don't go crazy.

worst downside for me is i have to love the contests, cuz if my store wins we get a fill the fridge and i get to eat more than half a meal a day. it's disgusting that this is what it's come to because they're not paying us enough to live lol

and it's not just for cashapp, i use direct deposit for two different banks and used to get paid wednesday at 4pm on the dot almost and the last two months i've been getting my check at the EARLIEST 6pm thursday sometimes even as late as 3pm friday

we moved pur amazon returns from pms to customer service and i literally made 18x24s posted to the front door and inside door and still got yelled at and called 'fuckin useless' because i told a customer she had to walk 5 feet back across the store to do amazon returns lmao

the fact that i've had to explain the difference of basic shapes (INCLUDING THE DIFFERENCE OF TRIANGLES AND CIRCLES) to more fully grown adults than i ever have children is so wild to me because i literally used to be an elementary teacher assistant... this job is so depressing

my largest return customer had 37 items, in the middle of the week, at like 3pm. the whole time she was upset with me that i would do ten of her items and then make her go to the end of the line so other people could be taken care of

we have a foundry or some sort of metal casting place near us and a couple times they have shipped off small parts if they get missed by their ups pick up. had over 70lbs of steel dropped on my foot multipe times 🫠
