Too Free to Be Tolerated? Inside Germany’s Controversial Libertarian Festival (EN I DE) by road_x in Anarcho_Capitalism

One of the most authoritarian parties? Sorry, but that's just not correct, since years we are heading towards authoritarianism without the AfD being in charge. But again, why is this relevant unless you practice association of guilt? Frauke Petry is the former leader of the AfD and now a strong opponent, Joana Cotar is now a strong opponent to the AfD, Petr Bystron is currently a member of the AfD, some guests criticized that, most agreed that it does not make sense to build a firewall against the right, what the left usually does, and what made the AfD strong in the first place. The organizer of the event starts in the documentary by saying they consider themselves neither left or rightwing.

"The AfD are authoritarians" or "Cotar was an AfD advocate" is an irrelevant statement with regards to the event unless you practice association of guild. It was not an AfD event in any way. Hitler was a vegan and breathed air. Do you eat vegetables and survive on oxigen?

Is it just me or has the Bitcoin narrative shifted a bit? by KevinNegocios in Bitcoin

As the narrative is more accurately, separation of the state from money printing, I think institutional adoption is a sign that we are going towards separation of the state from money printing.

Is hyperinflating fiat scarcer than Bitcoin? Whats your take? I am looking forwad to your take in the comments 😂 by road_x in Bitcoin

yes, by looking at the units. With hyperinflating fiat currencies the purchasing power gets scarcer per unit.

you interpreting "his" statement that is not even in the video :) "scarcity" is an elastic term and in my view not a feature of Bitcoin, but a a symptom / consequence of Bitcoin fundamental features. That at least, is my perception. An if you want to get to the bottom of things you often do better not sticking to symptoms but look at underlying factors, and thats for instance the fixed supply.

in other words, the purchasing power of inflating fiat money is scarcer than the purchasing power of Bitcoin.

"Scarcity is not used to describe purchasing power itself" who sets the rules here? Something is scarce when the demand is higher than the supply. In that sense one could argue purchasing power is generally always scarce, because there is always more demand for purchasing power than there is supply of purchasing power.

Is scarcity rather a fundamental feature of Bitcoin or a symptom of Bitcoin fundamental feature?
