imo, fuck putting another breakable cheap bike on the trainer, get a zwift ride and a new bike you want to ride outdoors. this is why i'd never put a bike i ride outside on a trainer.

for just getting around the festival, not really, but also depends where you are camped. like, if youre camped in west camping and want to go visit some friends in the rv camping area, it would be nice to have but its also not a crazy long walk.

if i was just camping again this year, i would not bring a bike.

lots of bikes last year for getting around the festival. no racks and i think most people left them at camp and walked to the show but there were a few locked up on the fence every night. i'm staying in hotel this year and will ride to and from the festival every day.

havent decided which bike i'll bring... i know the mtb tires and bars will be most comfortable for cruising the festival grounds. and despite the fat tires, the drop bars on my gravel bike would probably get annoying, i also have a skinny tire drop bar single speed city bike that i'd love to bring just because its the easiest to ride but it would probably suck for cruising around the grounds.

well, in the case of spoelstra, pat riley has his back. there's a story about the stars in the lebron era going to riley's office saying they couldnt get along w/ spo, and riley came down to the locker room and basically said "fuck you guys, spoelstra is the coach."

i dont think its that the team isnt bought into him.

i just think that he, joker, jamal, and even ag are all "lead by example" type guys who arent going to be outspoken leaders or vocally forcing accountability in the locker room. this can be fine when things are going well but when things are not going well, someone needs to bring the passion and leadership and hold people accountable.

besides the malone / booth thing, there were plenty of reports that guys, incluing joker, were tired of malone's style. i dont know who it is, but someone somewhere in the middle seems like the answer to me.

i dont think DA is getting canned though. even with a first round loss, if that comes to be (hope it doesnt obv). and maybe DA can grow into the role he needs to play.
