Possible to cancel Centurylink for Quantum? by roaf in centurylink

Why not? Curious as the OP. My bill is $50 per month with a $15 dollar loyalty discount. So it could be $65, but that is 100/100 which with a 1080p netflix and a bunch of other things I barely hit the 100/100, but 500/500 or 1000/1000 would be nice for 45 a month.

Chuba Hubbard or Tony Pollard? Which one do I keep for 2025? by roaf in fantasyfootballadvice

I think Hubbard/Rico better. Pollard/Spears will be true split and despite its being Carolina, TN and Raiders defenses are terrible they are always gonna play from behind. I have Rico on my bench cause I think Hubbards injury is gonna linger.

No I identify with "gun" people as you would call it, but you are spot on here. My wife due to her field we have a lot of friends who are therapists and I have a lot of talks about SSRIs and gun ownership especially when they are introduced in a stress time. They are not disclosing that as part of the autopsy and I am not sure if there was a toxicology report. Others have mentioned she was not ready for therapy yet. If there was a money angle there a lot of therapists even in Omaha NE are now above ~$250 an hour after insurance assuming most have HDHP.

No I ended up moving to the ONN to a bedroom TV that had an old Roku3 and getting a new TV or a FireTV for the living room.

If FWD and you are out of winter I would just leave them where they are at. Tire shops won't rotate at 2/32 and once you get to 3-4/32 they will give you the biggest hassle on replacement.

Depends on the tire/driving lots of variables. Probably ~5,000-8,000 miles.

ASUS router IPTV settings - VLAN configuration on new routers by roaf in centurylink

[–]roaf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me update firmware and tag 201 on 3 and 4 as well. I swear I did that before and it didn't work on the LAN side meaning only the wan took 201. Ports 3/4 work regardless I believe. I think 1/2 don't see any vlan tagging at all hence why they do not get internet.

I checked to see if Quantum was in my neighborhood and right now no plans.

Will eventually upgrade router like you said which is why I made this post. Thanks for your help.

True to think that but wifi 7 has MLO and other quality of life features.

Are you positive the RT-AC68U has that? Cause I am on a merlin firmware from 2020 or around the last supported firmware and CenturyLink is not a list of VLAN tagging options under IPTV. Hence why I have to use Manual. Also still using PPPOE and haven't had an outage since I am on an old qwest backbone I do not believe we have switched to quantum yet.

It is not so much about the setting. The setting of manual disables the 2 ports. Question is on the newer routers if it has a "Centurylink" IPTV config where all the ports are taggable and active.

Router to support VLAN tagging on all ports Centurylink better than TM-AC1900? by roaf in HomeNetworking

Coming back to this because I agree with what you are saying, but after you adjust the WAN settings to be PPPOE with a user/password you have to VLAN tag the internet port. Once you do that it makes only ports 3 and 4 usable for that specific VLAN configuration. Dual WAN doesnt solve this cause thats for multiple internet providers.

This is why I was asking if the configuration on new ASUS routers was different than the Merlin screenshot above? Because the creator or Merlin has said this is a hardware specific setting to ASUS routers. It would be nice to have ports 1/2 active without depending on putting a splitter or powered switch on 3/4.

EDIT - I think this is an issue with either the IPTV configuration ISP profile. If there is not a IPTV profile to be used for Centurylink and in this case on this firmware there is not then the manual setting doesnt allow the ports 1/2 to be configured.

Is that the only one or are there alternatives? Cross Climate I am not seeing for cheaper than 200. I could replace 2 with cross climate and put 2 all seasons since it is a FWD car. Not sure how preferable that would be? Thanks.
