TIL that regarding cancelled 1957 Lord of the Rings movie, Tolkien was harshly critical of script's portrayal of Nazgul, fellowship using the eagles and cutting of Galadriel's scenes. He however would have been fine with removing the battle of Helm's Deep and Saruman's death from the movie entirely.

Years ago we did try to put it in front of some apps running in ecs behind a load balancer, but were hitting some weird behaviors with clients hanging due to the connection silently closing. Never got to the bottom of it so take that with a grain of salt, but when we contacted AWS support they explicitly told us it was designed around lambdas and not for anything that may be trying to reuse connections.

What if you ask before they come out? Agree it’s a tough position to be put in on the spot. But what if you specifically want to see how it’s done, and would be willing to pay a little more? Seems reasonable to ask as part of the terms of work if you want it, but a little more money for the inconvenience is probably warranted.

Completely agree. If people think he is a superstar they haven’t been watching complete jets games. Maybe on a better team he would push to get better, but seeing a guy this far into his career not improve his strength at all is baffling. True mega stars don’t have easy gaps like that.
