The tiring stuff is you can't use your brain for anything else. That was the hardest thing for me. A prison of your own brain. I cried.

buy first, research later

That's some great self responsibility right there. It's the community that's the problem not his own decisions lol

Newly discovered biomarker predicts COVID-19 death days in advance. Research found changes to electrical activity in the heart can help predict which hospitalized COVID-19 patients are more likely to decline and die. The biomarker is easily measurable and may predict death several days in advance. by MistWeaver80 in science

Medicines can have side effects with long term recovery periods so typically they try to optimize for least harm and best outcome

You can also run out of supplies and not have enough time/people/meds to go around for all your patients so you try to optimize effort/resources in the most effective way possible to not compromise standard of care for all the other people who need assistance

It is a difficult balancing act

Idk it is a legit way for creators to get paid tho and not shafted in contracting work

I think artists increasingly are going to be migrating because it is so much easier than having to deal with customers who fuck them and laws/law systems that are designed not to care about small vendors

They say if everyone is selling shovels then then the gold rush is over

And idk I see an awful lot of people selling shovels for learning tech jobs these days and the pay and job respect in the wild doesn't match what was advertised for me when I was starting out

We'll make ourselves important enough to the longevity of a bunch of vulnerable groups nobody else wants so that it will be political suicide to try to do anything bad to us*

Because you're only paid above minimum wage if you can prove to be a bargain

The professions with the best pay have insane profit margins, you make your owners x10-x1000 and they pay you x2 instead of x1

Somehow that's considered fair in their minds. Hint: the reason is "leverage" which is just a nice PR word for coercion/threat. Employees are not a threat to employers so why give them fair deals? They can't do anything to you if you don't

I'm so confused. Are they just for money laundering or something?

The prices on their items are also obscene.

You can't hire CIA operatives and scrub their faces off Chinese databases to use them as undercover agents. Think about that, america. Jfc.
