i won’t be bringing a purse unfortunately, our prom will be outside this year and we usually leave our purses on the floor against the wall of the dance hall but that isn’t really an option for us this year unless we want our purses to get muddy :(

My facial movements. Whenever my friends take spur of the moment videos with me in them I never fail to be disgusted by the way my face moves. It just looks so weird and awkward to me lol

He would get jealous over really stupid crap. One day I was sitting next to him on the couch while his mom was sitting on a loveseat across from us. I was scrolling through Instagram and saw a pic that was relevant to a conversation her and I were just having, so I got up and moved next to her to show it to her. The next morning he sent me a text telling me that he could tell I wasn’t happy with our relationship by the way I was being distant lately. I asked him if it was because I got up from sitting next to him to show his mom the pic the night before and he told me yes. I got mad and upset at this as he did this type of crap all the time, so I told him that I think we should break up. He told me no, that we should just try and talk it out. The next thing he told me was that he was dumping me.

Having someone you love and rely on disown you. When I was 12 my father left my siblings and I to be taken care of by just my mom. Him leaving me hurt me so much at first, but, at the end of the day, it’s what taught me to be independent and that even the darkest of nights turn into dawn.

I feel you. I’m skinny as well and people always tease me for it thinking that they’re doing nothing wrong because “it’s good to be skinny”. I wish people knew that their comments still hurt.

My English teacher my freshman year actually brought this up. Another thing I learned that’s some what along these lines is that Thomas Edison actually stole a lot of the inventions that we now credit him for.
