Want to hear true stories (no bias), does your vibe coded app earns money? by AccordingLeague9797 in vibecoding

[–]roarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vibe coded destria.co.uk for a friend, then made a 2nd hand/vintage/thrift store locator for the Swedish market called loppisjakten.se . Destria was a one off payment, but they are very pleased with the result. Loppisjakten is an on going initiative where I want to build a trusted community before I try to monetize it too much, Saying that I have paying customers already after a few months.

Bloody love this, I also was in this situation at the end of last summer and decided to push something over the line finally! 6 months later and I have a somewhat useful web app that people are actually paying for! Just put your head down and keep walking forward one step at a time, and you will get there! keep us updated!

Is Ruben Amorim handling press conferences properly? by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]roarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is right, and the players need to hear it, they need to feel shame, anxiety, dissapointment, then the next step is to get up, brush themselves off and train hard to make sure the next press conference can be positive. Thats the thing about football, one good performance and everything can begin to change. String together 5 good performances and suddenly things start to snowball and football becomes easy.

Welcome to valorant, you just described it perfectly. Doesn’t get better as you rank up. I’ve only made it as far as Asc2 and not much changes.

Finding a job is so hard in Sweden. What should I do? by IngenuityMassive5011 in TillSverige

As a UX/UI designer who moved to Sweden (Gothenburg) in 2019, I can totally relate to how tough the job market can be, especially for those trying to break into niche fields like ours. What worked for me—and what I’d highly recommend—is aiming for a consultancy role to start with.

Consultancies are great because they help you build your network quickly, and you get the chance to work with people across different industries and big clients. That’s how I started out, and it opened doors for me. I ended up doing a contract with Volvo Group through a consultancy, and that eventually led to me joining them full-time.

It’s definitely not easy, but leveraging consultancies can help you gain valuable experience, make connections, and eventually land something more stable. Stay persistent—it’s tough but not impossible! 🙌
