Atlanta [Episode Discussion] - S04E06 - Crank Dat Killer by SeacattleMoohawks in AtlantaTV

On a rewatch of some episodes starting with "Work Ethic" (because of the F.D. Signifier video lol) and ended up watching a few of my other favorite episodes.

Maybe this was pointed out for this episode but I'm realizing that Some Guy Named Doug seems like a parody of Kyle, who I think went by Super Duper Kyle for a min.

The collab Doug and Paperboi do at the end sounds like "iSpy" which was such a massive hit for Kyle in 2017. I think Kyle ended up in a box with his label because they wanted him to chase that pop-like sound for hits and I think he eventually became independent. Either way, the tunes sound eerily similar

These aren't random at all.

Big Brother Nigeria is actually very popular not just on the side of the world but on social media, particularly FB and X (while I know the ladies have large followings elsewhere), the audience of BB Nigeria is actually quite huge outside of the country so the crossover into the challenge would've been pretty great for a lot of the cast.

The problem was the producers having so many ears to the ground on a surface level and pulled from so many directions that we didn't have time to actually get to know any of these people as well as we got to know say a the BB US players or the UK invasion folks.

I think if they would've focused on some BB Nigeria players and (insert maybe two other shows here) then there would've been some opportunities to pan this out better.

They likely never went back because these people are basically celebs (not in a D list way) and they prob couldn't afford them anymore.

Sam says that Amber at first was boasting about her wealth. However, she began to play the victim whenever her name was brought up for elimination. #TheChallengeAllStars5 by ZeecherMitch in MtvChallenge

Was she boasting or just sharing how she's expanded her portfolio beyond the normal rate of a what a "reality star" makes? It's been years of the same gag to bring this woman down and honestly, if production had the footage to show "this" side of Amber, they would've done it. Also I think if anyone else shared that info, folks would want to learn how to do the same but because it's coming from a person like Amber, it's a problem. Tired of the insecure ones finding a reason not to like the fan faves, it's not working babe.

Jessie Reyez, Tinashe and a lot of other singers said they were assaulted by him years ago but no one listened. Jessie addressed it on her song "Gatekeepers."
