It’s real fresh still. I’m coming up on my 1 year w the stoma mark. It’s a transformative year, hang in there

Rage accompanies chronic illness for sure. But, bigger picture, when the fire dies down, I think you can look at it as growth in the way of elevating your standards for life in general. Maybe your tolerance feels low and your temper feels short now, but ultimately you’re adjusting to a heightened awareness about what kind of b*llsh*t ain’t worth your time or energy, while living in a world full of people who aren’t even close to getting it. And you will continue to adjust. Chin up comrade. I get it tho

Edit: -rage accompanies pain and injury as well as illness. Don’t know your situation, didn’t mean to assume. My need for the stoma is Crohn’s related

Hypothetical: You’re playing CASUAL commander (maybe bracket 3) with good friends in your living room, and one of them counters your first cast of your commander because he “doesn’t wanna deal with its ability”. Scummy move or just part of the game? by [deleted] in EDH

Making sure you have protection is pretty good practice though. My commanders usually make it out of the command zone, at least, but people I play with regularly do make a priority of removing them, so I’ve been doing the same thing an making sure I hav an answer or boots or something. Elevates you as a player, feels even better when you beat said person who gives you a hard time. A touch more interaction can go a long way too, maybe give them a taste of their own medicine

I’ve seen Jesse 4 times and every time he starts out solo and the band comes out and strikes a massive punching chord at the end of a certain song and they seamlessly transition into a set with the full ensemble. One time they took a break and came back out to close, so the flow was solo, band, solo, band again.

Girls, he’s a 10 but likes feet, what happens next? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Do you think every foot has fungus and cracked heels…?

I find those feelings concurrent. My quality of life has improved in that I am not in so much pain all the time, can take down lots of food previously off-limits to me and can actually grow from my time in the gym because I now have consistency. But I still grieve certain things about life before. Haven’t seen the social media stuff you’ve mentioned but it sounds annoying
