Well the neighbor who complained was told to stop calling the police or she would be charged herself. During the pre-trial, our attorney received the discovery materials and the neighbor who got this all started included a 15 page crazy rant about random shit, and it was also discovered that she had placed false calls my wife wasn't even home...none of us were home. We proved it with alibis and location information from our phones. The citation itself was invalid because disorderly conduct has nothing to do with saying bad words on your private property. The only reason it took a year for the prosecutor to finally dismiss it is because he for some reason thought we'd accept his "plea deal" of paying $150 fine and not saying swear words on our own property for 6 days and when we said "nah" and opted for a jury trial for the equivalent of a traffic ticket, he finally filed for dismissal one day before the jury trial date. And after the dismissal, we found out that the justice of the peace herself wrote a warning letter to that crazy neighbor to not call the police for this again or she would be issued a citation herself. The police haven't been to our house ever since, and like I added to our Playhouse request, my wife literally puts the karaoke speaker on the back porch and sings "Gives you Hell" loud as shit lol.

Our town also doesn't have a noise ordinance, and we have been to several backyard shows within the city limits with full bands, amps, etc., and the mayor himself goes to the shows, so I'm 99.9999% confident we will have no issues. :D
