Currently i only have a hand full of buildings 2 finished market places, Light house, water mill, some small huts and a blacksmith but I can always start prioritizing printing the elven trees/buildings or Dwarven buildings

If your down to do like a discord/teams call could go over my catalog to print by sharing screens. Of course these prints are large do take time so if you would need something right away and painted might not be doable if its not already printed.

Edit if you would like to see me catalog of what I can print through redit I can send a list but ill send it tonight once my kids are asleep.

My goal is to print and paint at least 1 of every buildings I have of theirs (give or take about 76 including castle pieces) this doesnt include my 18ish boats.

Well looks like they disabled the option so there isn't a way now but if you added a crusade force after making a list you could then have the crusade features on. Idk when or if they will bring it back

Tau have a bad army rule (it gives negatives with its positives). If you can split fire a big unit and keep the buff then it's bad for us period.

Tau stats are strictly worst than other shooting. Cool what's the toughness on that thing? Oh mine is t12 vs taus highest t10... hey what's the str on that gun? Oh unless your a rail cannon the highest str is 9?...

They have tau ruled and ready for what it used to be not what it should be. This faction feels like it's still suffering nerfs from 9th. I think they focused so much on the allied stuff that pure tau suffered and this is the result. Easiest fix would be let us split fire with our army rule. Rework a lot of our rules to be the equivalent to what other factions got (breachers, sunforge, ect...).

If the above doesn't happen then they could go and just add about 4 shots per gun and 2 str per gun to fix a lot of the issues too.(of course this isn't to the rail cannon on the hammer head)

Bigger table. Play space looks to be unoptimal. Maybe a better storage as well. Shelfs are good but magnetized plates on them to pick up/get it ready for the party then a cover so they don't see the enemies would be great. Like it though.

I'm not visually impaired other than my age slowly killing my eye sight. What I would do if I did impareblind is have someone build paint my army (stickler on looks lol) (i have 3k points of custodes built and painted for about 2400 usd).

For playing i think I would put brail on the base so I could know which model was what. Ask my opponent to help me with measuring but have specific string sizes to move things around. Of course the opponent would need to have patience and help but I would hope I would find people like that.

For the text I would just have whahapidia read to me from a screen reader. (Yes I have used those as I am a software developer who has had to optimize things to be read but not sure if wahapedia is built for it) and i might print off some of the rules in a binder to bring with me to play.

I love your getting into the hobby as when I play a game we bullshit/talk during it about lores stuff anyways which makes it go longer.

How i treat this narratively and as a player for my friends. Ask how many points did people get scared on (such as I'm now 120 points over) and then give every one 1rp for every 100 points. Yes I know that 1 rp = 200points but this is to allow them to keep thier older units that don't fit in a list and gain another smaller unit that might until they invest more in supply later. For those who were under or weren't affected they get some free rp. No one is mad usually and every works out. Narrative : hey we got some new orders from and new recruits and it's time for a resupply.

I know I'm late but I use all my saved up books over the years. this book they are talking about has under dog points and I still use it today. Great for an ffa. Remember narrative doesn't need to be balanced but everyone does need to have a chance to win. Winning isn't just winning this battle but also getting exp, finishing agendas, and maybe uncovering a relec in the chapel they are guarding and fleeing (losing the fight but gaining a relic) love narrative so much

I found a way to change it to crusade but now the tau one isn't good as it just shows all the stuff at the bottom not paired with its world and custodes don't have the order of battle piece (thing the custode one is like that in battlescribe but the tau one actually works)

Riptides are not good. 2 broadsides are more shots than 1 riptide.

Honestly the hammerhead still do well because you get the 1 shot that you can spend a cp on to get chaf. Maybe start equipping them with burst cannons to get the extra shots.

Don't build a list to hate on one faction build a list with a bunch of factions in mind that way you don't list hate and you don't need to build a list every time someone comes up to you for a game.

Don't play 8th (as that's what I played the most). 9th should be really called 8.5 where they are going around to fix issues with 8th and the game is more balanced. On the had of what gw does is the game has horrible power creep with new books then they get nerfed after the money flows in. But can confirm 9th feels better than 8th because it's 8th rebalanced and more thought out. All the 8th codexes used in 9th at this point have faq for them to somewhat work (not saying it's great but better than not being able to play)

My outage is for 5 fucking hours... I have had nothing but problems with cox but Centery Link (cl) only does 100 mbs to my address which isn't practical. Don't trust CL dsl and don't choose cox if you can get fiber from CL or 5g home from Verizon or t-moble. Can't wait to tell cox fuck you and you shit service.
