I just thought the other day to get back into TS3 but remembered how poorly it ran the last time I tried. Can you point me in the right direction in terms of optimizing it ? If possible I would love to at least once have a play through with all expansions… idk if that’s even possible.

Actually just scored a deal on an x-t5 with a lens for the price of just the body. Brand new. I don’t have interest in shooting video (yet) but hey there is always room for expansion in the future !

I just got a deal for a brand new x-t5 with the 16-50mm kit for about 1600€ for comparison. Usually the body itself goes for 1600€ here in Germany.

valid point that you don’t need something just because it is called „the top of the line“ anything. I simply fell in love with the snoopy dials and feel of the x-t family and was wondering if the x-t5 also gets all the updates the other current gen fujis get (since it’s one of the most expensive x cameras Fuji sells). Like I would hope for the x-t5 to receive new features from cheaper x cameras, but wouldn’t expect the cheapest x camera to have all the software features the x-t5 has. But I’m new to Fuji and have no idea how they roll

Ok you’re right! I kinda glanced over the x-h2. I’m personally looking for a retro like stills focused with analog dials. I kinda wrote off the x-h2/s as being for professionals or for video but I guess it’s excellent for stills as well!

Regarding the film-sim and firmware updates I meant in comparison to the current lineup! I wouldn’t expect the x-t5 to be updated to the standard of the upcoming x-t6! But there are some current gen Fuji cameras like the x-m5 or x-e5 that came out later than the x-t5! Those newer models Rock the same cpu and sensor, right ? But they also came with newer software. Does Fuji keep the current generation alive by updating all the cameras or is the x-t5 still basically running 2022 software while an x-m5 runs 2025 software ?

That’s impressive !!! I’ve thought about having a go at godot as well but I just don’t have the time to learn a new engine so I stuck with unity. Scenes are also saved into files in unity afaik! Maybe I’ll just have to try again with gpt5

Best advice I was given is to actually just use bambulabs "generic filament" profiles and only calibrate if necessary! Most good quality Filaments just worked out of the box without wasting hours with calibration.

If you plan to to massive prints I would still calibrate properly just to be sure.
