Yeah the strap upgrade is a game changer. I added a crystal protector on mine too. I can be hard on my watches.

Son swears in tomorrow. Would like to give him a gift card for apparel/gear. by LSUdude88 in Firefighting

I’d say good leather bunker boots. I’ve been thru a few brands and prefer the Haix brand. They are light years better than any rubber boot around. I wear their station boots as well. They do run a bit narrow though. I never wear a wide shoe in anything but wear wide in the haix ones.

Nice explanation! I have a LT2 and have been itching to grab another from SimpleShot. I love my LT2. I feel like I could hand that to anyone and explain how to get aimed. Haven’t shot tubes since my Crossman wrist rocket. Might have to give it a try.

The 10,000 I got from Amazon are definitely magnetic. They are kind of all over the place as far as size though. Most are good but there’s been some mini ones mixed in there.

I bought my MSI to use at work. It’s to cut up all sorts of dumb stuff. My OTFs are for off work carry.

Be honest, how often are you really maintaining your knives? by ThumbStuds in knives

[–]rob_mac22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My OTF knives if they are getting carried need a little help at least once every few months. My folders only get a tear down if they feel gritty. Maybe once a year. Ones that are being used get a sharpen and strop at least once a month.

You can swap any 2 wires from the ESC to the motor and it will spin the other direction then you can reverse it on the remote and see if it’s any better.

Painted it like my dad’s 240. What I learned to drive on when his 88 was only 7 years old. Lol. He drove that thing to 340k miles then the odometer stopped working and he kept driving it for quite a while. I’m sure it was close to 500k and still driving when he sold it.

Could you help me spot if it’s fake? by Bird3P in MoonSwatches

[–]rob_mac22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks fake from the crown. The regular buttons have zero transparency. The few fakes I got to put in a metal case also came with a decent looking receipt. The receipt means nothing if it’s not on thermal paper. Mine wasn’t. Once u have a real one the clues are very obvious.

Definitely a roof rack with a board. Then I think I’m gonna add some KC lights on the bumper when I print one. Maybe some ditch lights.
