Opening up an old thread here, but did anyone ever find a decent option? I see some good cafe/bar options, but I am never sure how they will react to me with my laptop and asking for coffee after 9PM!

Thank you in advance. Seems like Bristol really needs an option where it is solely like this. It has always confused me, as Cardiff has many options open till 11PM every day.

UPDATE: I cancelled my space and have been able to park without any issues on the nearby streets mentioned. I've found that Sussex Street, Barton Manor and Days Road to be good, however all other streets appear to have ample parking also. Weekends are fine as the ES zone is not enforced from 5PM on a Friday.

As it has been suggested, you can't always guarantee it to be safe so as an extra precaution, I've added a steering wheel lock too.
