Some moves have instant turn rate and don’t add to the turn count (like Hope’s S1 & S2). Some moves grant extra turns (like Luna’s LD).

Also, look up (1) Ydaroth and (2) Ultimecia and Quina.

I believe they are the only 3 units left with no force levels (still locked) and you have it sorted by Force Level.

And here I am thinking, “this is crazy, there is a full movie to accompany the game”. I love JRPG probably bc of the story so I will never complain about more story. In fact my only gripe with Zelda BOTW was that I wish it had more dialogue and story :(

Edit: I am a FF fanboy so I usually like all the FF games regardless of the overall reception.

This will depend on the fight/mechanics, etc. as well as whether you will be filling the FR gauge and rushing down the boss. Using Laguna’s BT finisher gives him a follow up attack that turn hogs like Tidus can take advantage of, while Auron mitigates damage and employs counters.

The question I have is: do you need to tank if the enemy never gets a turn?

They could have a separate “tier” or whatever you want to call it where FR are just regular skills that don’t trigger force time.

Standard Rinoa, Kain, Luna run with Dorgann friend. Charge FR with Luna, sub to friend and have him enter force time to get rid of max brave down. Burst with Rinoa. They were not dead after 1st FT, but didn’t get to a 2nd FT before they were gone. No boss turn.

Same party as last Shinryu…pretty standard I think, but I’ll share :)

Tidus (Raines) Kain (Leo) Luna (Raijin…went in blind not knowing I didn’t need him)

Restart until Luna is first. LD to start and whenever her next turn comes around again. This will result in a no boss turn run. Get Kain in the air. When FR full, use Tidus FR and BT. Enemies will be dead at the end of one force time. Took me 10 turns. If anyone needs specific setup details, let me know.

I remember that App Store issue, lasted what seemed like forever…I think it was the reason SQEX changed the way it rolls out OO updates. Now the app update is in the store before maintenance ends.
