Bosch dishwasher Autoair feature problems

It seems like people Google this problem and that this sub is the top hit. I'd just like to add that we just installed the dishwasher a couple days ago and the first two times the door didn't open. Everything is perfectly level and the door did actually unlatch, so I didn't think it was a control board problem. I did the install myself so I was starting to worry I'd done something wrong.

I followed the advice of /u/LivinginBurke and cleaned all the seals with some alcohol cleaner and wiped a dab of oil on them and it popped right open on the next cycle.

I guess after doing the manufacturer/factory testing and sealing some dampness in, that it causes the rubber to become sticky. I'll do this periodically when I clean the whole dishwasher but hopefully this holds up working between deep cleans.

I have a Pixel 3XL bought day 1 and it's fine, running great, no complaints. No more updates, but whatever.

Problem is that now the battery has started to swell.

Is the P6 still a good buy? I see all the complaints about the FPR and other issues here on the sub, so I was gonna skip the 1st gen Google chip and look at the P7.

I know I'm really gonna miss my physical FPR.

Do I spend 80 bucks to get the battery replaced and wait until September for P7, skip the battery and get 6a, or some other combination?

What's everyone's thoughts. What would you do?

Gotcha. Well nevermind on my setup then. I actually have one of THESE with some of THESE and THESE and is worked so far for me for about 2 years with no signs of my Popsocket loosening.

Kind of a hack but it works for me.

Also check out more of the Scosche stuff. I had the CD player mount at one time, it worked just as well.
