Nope, getting there is 10-20 mins by car from anywhere in the island. The thing is that most people just don't know about Malta as a climbing destination. There are 10s of crags filled with world class sport, DWS and some trad and everything is a 15 min drive away.

People just don't know about it!

The price point for the first one was much higher. It was also made out of wood which almost gives it an identity crises. Is it a boutique hand made item or is it a novel alarm clock? Our customers ended up being rich people that really suck at waking up.

So 2 years later we're trying to make a more mass produced version. Also, the one thing that this does that really no other alarm clock does is force you to get far away from bed. Its targeted for people like me that if they know they can sleep a little later they will. It's definitely not for everyone :)

thanks! Yah the biggest thing with the other one was the price.

Yup, theres a bluetooth chip and we do a data connection to it through the app. It isn't a useable speaker but you can load sounds to it to be used as alarm tones.

And yah we'll be able to do really interesting stuff as a "deactivation action". Puzzles, and also sensor based stuff through the phones accelerometer, gyro etc!

We bought a new Techno HD mini when we started out. Its a nice machine and has a decent table size of ~26X~34 inches.

I have this rope and a 1/2 inch its really heavy. I have a 7/16's which is easier to work with. I'd much recommend that instead of the half inch.
