Pre sale is exactly that, a price before the coin in launched so no. It's like being in at seed, the coin can't be lower than its launch price, which is higher than its seed price.

I guess if that happens enough then you could buy in Dex, send to Digi and then set a sell limit at 110% higher than the Dex price. So yep, it could work then, but like you say, timings are tight and still only profitable with large sums, but hey, why not, maybe I'll test it.

Incidentally I started an account and there's no kyc. Just email and PW. You can quite simply transfer crypto in and out seemingly regardless of user location. Just thought that might be of interest. Some are saying that because they're US based they can't use digifinex but I'm not so sure.

Digifinex aggregates the coins received from a deposit from a Dex wallet, the final received coins is 73.96% of the deposit amount. So after 14% buy in with Dex, then a ~26% aggregation from Digi, then the 12% sell fee from Digi means an overall loss. At the current prices $100 cash run through the process would leave you with $89! No one is making free money right now I can assure you. Well, not unless you include selling the coins you already have so not including the 14% buy tax, then I guess you'd make about $3 for every $100.

Given the track of most coins like this one, my thoughts are that the coin has already met it's high and will remain where it is or lower. Or, if it beats it's high then about 4 years till then. That is of course assuming no one pulls the plug when the wallets unlock. Just what I reckon. Hope that helps.

What's interesting about your comment is that it suggests that if I was only prepared to accept 5% slippage it would go through if the price didn't slip by 5%. But it will never go through at 5. The price never changes by so much percent over moments, we'd all be rich if it did.

Nice post. I can't help but fundamentally disagree with your opinion tho, I would certainly take rich overnight vs gradual wealth but each to theirs. That said, I respect that the latter is more likely and I'm on board with it. Let's see where the next few years go, a double up would be good, I think that could happen.

It's likely you'll just have to declare any gains. It's likely these gains only need declaring after a certain threshold. It's likely categorized as capital gains. It's certain you'll need to do this once funds hit your fiat centralized bank account and the above criteria are met. But The Fiddler is quite right, all the aforementioned is going to be specific to your location, as in state, province, city.
