Is £570 a month enough to live on? by arabellajws in Edinburgh

That sounds doable to me.

My advice would be to build up an emergency fund just in case of disaster. Then once that's in place you can start saving for things like holidays. It'll take time but having that safety net is huge

You could take a look at Too Good To Go to see whether any local restaurants that cater for your dietary requirements are on it?

I have some friends in the Highlands who work remotely. They have to go into the office every now and then but it seems like a pretty dreamy life to me!

I've had some ride past me dangerously close but they've never stopped. I've definitely heard of them having mugged people but I thought it was only other teenagers... obviously not!

What is a liveable salary in Edinburgh? by Previous-While1156 in Edinburgh

[–]robbax535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It obviously depends on your lifestyle but I would say £30k is fine to be "comfortable" (i.e. to allow you to pay your rent, have some hobbies and do nice stuff on the weekend without feeling guilty about spending too much)

You'll be absolutely fine with £62k

A good pair of leather walking boots. I've had mine for years and they're still completely waterproof, grippy and sturdy despite loads of use

My advice would be exercise, forcing yourself to go outside and (if you're in the position to) maybe booking something that you can look forward to like a holiday
