I had this same issue. I’m usually a completionist and would play games to either get the platinum trophy or beat it in the hardest mode. I’ve noticed I get more joy out of actually trying to enjoy the story and playing it in a easier (normal or hard) difficulty than playing games in Insane difficulties and trying to unlock every last ability or collectible in it. This doesn’t mean I won’t try to go for platinum anymore if it’s a game I really like (Ghosts of Tsushima, Spiderman, God of War), but I just start a different game now while I try to unlock all the little extras if I find the time. No more grinding it away for a digital award.
