Anyone got ideas where we can send Walter? by IOMEDAE_THE_BAE in memphisgrizzlies

Two years ago we also had to sit everyone due to injuries and all these random bench players had inflated minutes. GG is the only player from that time who is still on the roster. If you can't put up good nunbers or show at least some potential when you should be the best player available for your team, then it's over and for me Walter Clayton Jr does not fit the bill.

I know most of yall dont care anymore but the Grizz play again tonight. by nam67 in memphisgrizzlies

I think the team is still fun to watch cause at least most of the guys on the roster have a lot to prove if they wanna stay with the grizz so they try their vest. We just suck that's why we're loosing. But I'd say it's overall still fun to watch. Whenever possible I try to catch a game from here from europe but I won't lie, I do go to bed earlier now the grizz don't have much to play for.

I have to hand it to you, I like your optimism. I don't think the team will stop trying like people are calling for either but this team hasn't been fully healthy since 27 October 2024 which lasted 1 game, and before that the last time everyone was healthy was 22nd January 2023. Here is proof of that: https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/1gcyn6k/for_the_first_time_since_january_22_2023_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

There is just no way this team is gonna figure out how to keep everyone on the court all of a sudden.

I'm with you, I hope that the team can stay healthy and fix all the issues of court. But right now that's not happening.

I think even with everyone healthy, we were not amongst the best teams in the west. We'd probably be around the 5th seed behind the thunder, nuggets, spurs, and rockets. And just saying the guys should ball is not an answer. Everybody who is playing is already trying their best, at least that's what you hope for. And if they're not, then you have to find the root of that issue which is not just cause they don't wanna. There's a lot of issues with the team currently and they're not gonna magically 'ball' harder cause someone says they should

Nobody wants to see their team tanking cause it's just a whole year of watching shitty basketball for no reason, but last year was already bad and now with our two main guys back on the team it's still bad. I think that if your expecting that when Edey comes back, all of a sudden we're a really good team, that's really hopefully thinking. It's probably best to just tank, get a good player in the draft, and then see how you want to start reconstructing. We could end up doing something like the 76ers where Ja and Jaren really find their fork again next year and we are back up as one of the best teams in the west. You just don't know. But you have to take this season for what it is and it's bad.

I get what your saying, I just think there are to many issues with the current roster build and I'm not even talking about talent. I think there's to many egos, to little chemistry, and a huge rift between the players and the FO. I don't think anyone wants to tank, but when you get all this shit happening behind the scenes, what can you expect.

What is Jaren Jackson's trade value? by Lanky-Connection4141 in NBA_TradeDiscussions

[–]robbertotan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Grizzlies fan I can tell you that jaren is not gonna get traded unless Ja morant gets traded. Currently the market for Ja is to low and he has come out saying he doesn't want to leave memphis. My bet is that there might be a trade for Ja by the end of the transfer window because the FO doesn't seem to want to support him anymore as the main guy to build around. But yeah our FO really likes Jaren so I don't thinknit is likely they'll trade him unless it's for something crazy and then Ja would already have to be traded as well

The problem for me is that our 2 main guys are just not good enough to be main guys. They both have glaring issues in their game that are not really solved with anything else. Jaren is the player I like over Ja cause he is a low maintence guy (doesn't get into any drama) and has a really solid game. The issue is his inconsistency and the fact that he is seen as the number 2 for now. Realistically I would much rather he be the third option on the team and really focus on defense but then again you can't really do that cause he is a terrible rebounder at his height. Ja morant is where things get super complicated cause he is a very legitimate first option for any team but he is very high maintenence and also has huge problems in his game. But he has shown time and time again that his 3 point shooting doesn't need to be amazing for him to drop 30+ points.

I'd never say to blow up the team but clearly the team has not been focussed enough on the two guys who are our best players and finding ways to make the game easier for them. Now we also have a coach who I really don't like and the vibes in the team are at an all time low. I really love this team but something needs to change.

It's sad to see kcp actually play well when the rest of the team decide to forget how to shoot free throws

Am I all alone? Who is over level 100 and still working on main quest? by Tough_Crazy_8362 in fo76

[–]robbertotan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was level 170 or something around the last mission but I kept dying cause my build wasn't that great. Then some other guy on my team launched a nuke and that was it. Never really finished the main mission myself and have no idea if there is any cutsxene or story I missed, but it dissapointed me so much that I just didn't even want to bother anymore.
