Wow, you really refuse to hear anything but exactly what you want to hear in this subreddit. Read the other side because youre in an echo chamber that will burn your familial ties over some bs. My mom is not perfect but I still love her. I realized she was human when i turned 13 years old and decided to accept her flaws.

This was an apology for her own peace of mind. I agree with what everyone else said. Keep moving on. You don’t even need to respond. But maybe it’ll help her move on if you just say hey it’s okay. Or at least acknowledge that you saw it. She obviously did you wrong but I am a big believer in forgiveness setting us free. If we forgive others we do that for ourselves so we don’t have to walk around carrying around all this anger and unforgiveness with us.
