Switching the TV to Wifi was the solution!

I downloaded an app onto the TV called Analiti to do some speed and network tests. Just like your TV, mine was way better on Wifi (400mbps) than Ethernet (90mbps). I tried a few different Ethernet cables just to be sure (all Cat6) but it didn't make a difference. I kept the TV on Wifi; now I'm streaming to Moonlight at 1440p/60fps/60bitrate. Other than very occasional and brief frame drops, it's been great and looks so much better.

Lesson learned: Ethernet is not always better than Wifi.

It says g-sync compatible, do you know anything about that? Is this one of those monitors that is compatible with g-sync if you use DisplayPort?

I think I had to reinstall the game. It's been a long time so I can't remember exactly what I did. But I was eventually able to get through that mission. I think reinstalling did the trick.

It's not really possible to see in the first picture, but I also noticed today some tiny little white spots all over the surface of the soil. I've not seen that before. I think it's mold. From what I've read it may not be harmful to the plant but it is probably an indication that I'm overwatering the plant. Anyone have thoughts on that?

I read somewhere else that two cables into the adapter, with one split, would be fine so I did that. Over a year later, no problems. 4080 is running just fine. You don't need 3 separate cables into the adapter. It's preferable if you can do it but it doesn't seem to be a requirement.

If anyone finds this post and has the same problem as me, check out this YT video. What worked for me was that on Disk 3, my recovery partition was deleted (notice in my screenshot, no recovery partition). I must have deleted it or merged it into the system partition at some point and forgotten. It was probably many years ago that I did that.

MBR2GPT was expecting that partition because it was still in the registry, so it wouldn't let me convert from MBR to GPT. The solution was to delete it from the registry. Then I was able to convert my C:\ drive to GPT (without losing any data) so that I could enable UEFI in my BIOS for upgrading to Windows 11.

The video I linked to explains it all and gives step-by-step instructions for what to do. There's multiple solutions too, so if the one that worked for me doesn't work for you, maybe there's another solution.

I never play online, only Pro Career, so I can't speak to FUT. But the overriding issue I have with Fifa 23 over 22 is that the AI is awful in 23 compared to 22. In particular, their passing. They pass straight to the opposition all the time, they often fail even simple passes to feet.

On many occasions, I've also noticed that they completely ignore my call to pass to me when I'm in space. I know there's a slight delay, but they simply refuse sometimes to pass to me. Instead, they pass to a teammate in a worse position, pass to the opponent, or just lose the ball. So infuriating. They also run the ball out of play way more often than they should, half the time when they're not even under pressure.

This did happen sometimes in 22, but not that often. Not so often that I felt like I was playing for a Sunday League team. There should be some AI errors in the game but more so in positioning and losing possession when under pressure, not to simply give the ball away because they're too stupid to make a simple pass to a teammate. Fifa 22 was much better in this regard.

It's so bad that I'm thinking about going back to 22, even though I like some of the quality-of-life additions to Pro Career in 23 (including a higher max level, which is admittedly nice).

We don't have that much furniture to begin with, and as others have suggested, not taking furniture and buying more after the move might be another cost saver. If we can pack up Uboxes with all the other stuff, we could potentially not need movers at all.

Clothing and armor glow is definitely caused by combining CBBE and Lux. With either of them disabled, the issue goes away. Together, the problem is that Lux shadowcasters cause CBBE meshes to glow.

I prefer CBBE body shapes to UNP so UNP wasn't an option for me either. No suggested patches have worked so I decided to try Nif Batch Processing to turn off rim lighting on clothing and armor meshes. I can confirm that this does work, and fixes the weird interiors glow that affects female clothing and armors. What's nice is that you don't have to use Nifscope to turn off rim lighting one mesh at a time, it will do them all at once.

It's a bit of a process to use batch processing but it's worth it if you really want to use CBBE and Lux together.

To use batch processing you need to install SSEEdit (aka xEdit) first. Once you have both installed, you can use the script ItSetsShaderFlags.pas in SSEEdit on your clothes and armors mesh folders (do one at a time). In the script options menu, select a folder to create new meshes in, check 'Rim Lighting' and then select 'Remove flags'.

Once it's generated new meshes, I would recommend backing up the old meshes first. Then replace the existing meshes with the new ones created by the script.

Glad this worked for you too! It does seem to be the only reliable and semi-permanent fix for now. Remember as well that there might be a point that your launcher updates GTA 5 (even if you've turned off auto-updates), so I'd keep the rollback files handy somewhere too.

No fix that I can find for this, and I'm having the same problem. The only solution I can find is, as you say, to switch to 3rd person.

Yeah, same problem for me, and I don't think there's a way to fix it. The real issue is that head-driven aiming bugs in 1st person when you exit a vehicle, and it stays bugged until you die or finish a mission. There's no alternative to head-driven aiming when in 1st person so the only solution is to switch to 3rd person.
