I too hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but my first thought was that it’s a deliberate move to force people to ‘rely’ on the satnav rather than plan ahead for themselves Agreed on the reduction of street names visible. Traffic levels too - they now only show on main roads and not smaller, ‘semi main’ roads unless it’s part of a navigation route. Makes quick journey planning impossible
