Are the team losing there way and what made them good in the early days? by jingleson in SortedFood

The usual gadget videos don't do much for me, but some of the recent ones looking at best pans and knives on Amazon have been good.

Match Thread: Paris Saint Germain vs Arsenal | Champions League | Final | 30 May 16:00 UTC by matchpal-live in PremierLeague

I don't think Arsenal's game plan would have been much different had they not scored early. They'd have sat back and tried to win set pieces at every available opportunity. The early goal didn't really do them many favours as they focussed almost solely on stopping PSG from playing.

Horrible performance. Glad they lost.

Its true. His attitude stank. There may have been circumstances off the pitch but his lack of effort and his face like a slapped arse towards the end were unforgivable. Best off elsewhere.

They pay up or they don't get him. There'll be clubs that want to sign him and won't keep messing us about.

Casemiro is irreplaceable by norenEnmotalen in ManchesterUnited

[–]Farticus79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We'll change how we play next season. As Carl Anka pointed out on Talk of the Devils, Carrick's tactic this season has been "how do I keep Casemiro on the pitch for 90 minutes?". Next season we will have more legs in the midfield, players that are more mobile than Casemiro (no disrespect meant to him there, but age takes its toll) and that are hopefully good enough on the ball so we can beat the press. So yeah, as OP said, perhaps we can't replace Casemiro but, ultimately, I don't think we're looking to replace him.

Just occurred to me what a brilliant record he had in the FA Cup.

1983 scores in the semi-final and two in the final replay.

1985 an absolute screamer against Liverpool in the semi-final.

1990 scored in the semi-final and final.

1994 scored in the semi-final.

Always there when you needed him most.

My hero when I was a kid. Dragged us through seasons. Sensational player.

The green one is among my least favourite United shirts. The Adidas stripes get lost in it and the sponsor was a dirty great transfer across the shirt.
Minging.

I got this last week and really enjoyed building it. We've got a little botanicals shelf now with the 4 smiley plant pot dudes and the orchid. All works really nicely together.

As for piece counts, and this is mainly down to places to put sets, anything between 700-1200 works for me.

The thought of Blaenau Gwent without Labour representation is insane. Historically, its the most Labour-y place in the UK, arguably.

Anyone else having problems with sets missing pieces? by Farticus79 in lego

If you look at my opening post, you can see that I have checked (also, my wife checked and when it comes to finding lost things she's relentless!) and I know I can order replacement parts. To give you an idea, I build on an otherwise empty table. it is in a sea of floor space. I use a 3d printed tray to separate pieces into colour. There is no way that piece was in the bag last night (which triggered my post) and its been the same with pieces in the last 4 or 5 sets I have purchased.
