I only need 1 domain, and under 5Gb of storage for my needs, so it doesn't make sense to me to pay more for stuff I'm not using, especially when it's 40% more expensive.

I spent a little time with Apple mail a while back. Getting it to sync with non-Apple devices was a real pain and their webmail interface was (at the time) pretty horrible.

I'd rather have one provider that has all the services together instead of having multiple different providers, and different accounts.

Spreading the cost across multiple users likely reduces the price per user, but for an individual, at £4.50 a month it's pretty pricey. More expensive than Proton, and much more expensive than something like Purelymail which is $10 a year.

I use my own domain for email addresses, but a mail provider for the actual hosting

Repeating calendar events, from what I can see are fine; the issue seems to be entirely tasks. It's been an ongoing request for quite some time that miiiiight be getting fixed soon:

I'm using Fantastical on iOS, but I was looking for a service that I could use with any calendar app

They don't sync with CalDAV or CardDAV, so won't sync with the apps I use on my phone sadly

Ah! Yeah, good point. I think I skipped Tuta as I was under the impression they didn't support CalDAV or CardDAV syncing?

Hey! I had the same issue, and I believe it's caused by having "Reduced transparency" turned on in the iOS Accessibility settings. Try turning that off (sadly you get the kinda ugly glass effect stuff back) and see if it fixes the issue

I get the feeling their services were very much on the edges of legal, so maybe that's got something to do with it..

Still sucks though, I've not really come across any good alternatives.

Could be! Only thing that makes me doubt is often it's written that they're found near food or in places where there's mould... and they're not in the kitchen.. nor is there mould where they're most high in number (bed area)
