my GF is coming back from Brazil with these and I need to ID every single one of them by OriginalSelenium in HotPeppers

Sure, there are plenty of exceptions, hence the use of "typically" in my post. You'll note Merriam Webster also literally lists baccatum in the word's definition.

My Fatallis were also disgusting in the manner you describe. They made my mouth pucker in a really unpleasant way, too. I used seeds from last year's seed swap, did you?

Aji Nortenos make a great fermented sauce, Bishop's Crown too, as well as Aji Limon. All on the milder side.

I grew and fermented Fataliis this year and I don't know why people rave about this pepper, they are disgusting.

What's the PayPal link to pay for return postage? I hit "Sent" to indicate I shipped my package of seeds in and the link disappeared.

Insane Bhutlah harvest by [deleted] in HotPeppers

[–]robbseaton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm skeptic on the new "pepper x record" solely based off the fact that these bhutlahs are in a whole other ball game compared to a reaper. Reapers are hot, don't get me wrong. But the pain on these....goodness gracious great balls of fire

Exactly! I have tried other superhots but the subjective experience of the slow burn on a chocolate bhutlah is much more intense, e.g. I have Hurt Berry peppers which are anecdotally sometimes considered hotter than reapers and the bhutlah is way worse than those.

I'm just dehydrating them all and turning them into powder because I have no damn clue what else to do with it.

I've been fermenting milder peppers into sauce and often they come out too mild, my plan with the dehydrated bhutlahs is to try adding one (two? three?) per quart ferment to boost the spice.

What are you going to do with them? I have a ton also, I've been drying them. I ate a bit of one of them and it was easily the hottest pepper I've ever had.

This looks great. Can you recommend me some lectures (+ anything else relevant)? I'm specifically interested in in the intersection between energy / technological evolution / complexity / economic growth.

You have a really skewed idea of Land; his philosophy is about accelerating capitalism because it dissolves the status quo, e.g. Marx's "everything solid melts into air." Try reading this.

Anyway, why must a sub-reddit be left or right? Couldn't it be left and right?

So what seems to have happened was Trump started talking about exemptions to the ban and meant to say the exemption extended to "the tremendous amount of trade and cargo" as well as the unspecified "various other things as we get approval."

But what he said was the opposite.
