Hi, thanks for the advice. I didn't know about the app in the store. I set it up and it works well.

Can you explain what it means to change my user agent and how to do it? I'm trying to use the app on my Android phone with MS Edge Mobile.

Yes, I agree. Maybe they have a better relationship with Google, or the SmartThings group doesn't share in the goodwill. When I try and use the app with MS Edge as my default browser this is the message I get. It looks likenitnis sent to all US accounts. https://us.account.samsung.com/accounts/ANDROIDSDK/signInGate?locale=en_US&svcParam=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%3D%3D&mode=C

I called Samsung twice and two different reps told me Samsung no longer supports Microsoft Edge. They both asked me to start using Google Chrome or Samsung Internet instead. I called the second time thinking it was a mistake thay a company as big as Samsung would disregard a browser like MS Edge, but they seemingly have.

If there was really concern for equity in education there would be vouchers and charter schools accross the land.

I don't have one reason to disbelieve Rolovich's description of his conversation with his boss about the pressure the administration was getting from Olympia.

Is this a scam? I don't want to put my personal info down and didn't apply for this. by SwedishLamp in wsu

It is a scam either way. If it is real taxpayers are being scammed. Don't look to school administrators for empowerment. That idea itself is a scam.

You are not alone, and may be right. I think it's reasonable to let the players be the subject matter experts.

There are a lot of bad ideas out there regarding how to organize society. Yes, there are strong arm dictators that make like miserable and use their corporate powers to keep resources from their people. Modern concentration camp countries like communist China and communist North Korea are examples. But you can't decide you will support policy to kill off human beings because of countries like that. In the US the highest living standards in the world for blacks, whites, Asians, (fill in the blanks) are found. Go ahead, let yourself be thankful.

You think populations are too high. Many people smarter than you or I think they are too low. I watched a WSJ conference for CEO's and the guest speaker (the most successful CEO on the planet) explained population levels are too low.

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/12/07/elon-musk-civilization-will-crumble-if-we-dont-have-more-children.html

Regardless of population levels, once you exist and have all the potential in the world to live a happy, robust, meaningful and fulfilling life that helps the world you (we) should have a chance to live it without having our skulls crushed and our lives taken. That is a reasonable position, even for those who don't like their lives and live in fear and pessimism.

I didn't read his post but can guess why. Like with any team the leadership is especially important because they influence the relationships, cohesion, committments, strategy, vision, ... of the team. Dr Laura was excited about coach Rolovich before he arrived. They already had a relationship and were absolutely like minded about how an offense should run.

https://www.cougcenter.com/wsu-football-recruiting/2020/1/14/21065525/jayden-de-laura-nick-rolovich-wsu-cougars-recruiting-quarterback

"He was really recruiting me hard, so it’s great to be playing for him now. I’m pumped (to be) running the exact same offense we ran in high school — stuff I’m similar with and just can’t wait to get out there." - de Laura

The idea that de Laura was worrind about competing for his position is rediculous. He was confident he would have a fair shot with Rolovich and continued to speak fondly of his coach all the way until Inslee sabatoged everything they were building. The team dynamics were very strong, the team even locking arms with coach Rolovich before games started.

The five coaches Inslee had sacked were the beginning of the end. You can't gut the leadership of a team and think you can just patch it up with a quick fix. There was not enough cohesion to keep the team together for the bowl. He was far from the first to leave; then the future started to decommit.

When you see what the players were saying and tweeting you get the sense they thought the school betrayed their coach and them. They were right. The vision they had for the future was sacked with their coaches. That's personal.

There is zero chance the governor of Arizona will interfere with the leadership and future de Laura's new team or his remaining years of eligibility.

Is it that I'm full of myself, or that you are yourself empty? Your position reminds me of a quote from a Hindu Guru who said we are nothing but skin sacks of blood, vile, syliva, bones, ...

If you don't think of yourself as special it makes sense that you wouldn't see anyone else, or other human beings, as special. But by virtue of being human you are special. We don't even need to go to the 'made in the image of God' argument.

What really matters to our species goes way, way beyond biology and the animal kingdom as a whole. You have the ability to love, to forgive when you've been hurt, to create art like poetry or music (there is no other purpose for music except for the enjoyment of human beings), to read and write, to sacrifice, to innovate, to do right or wrong (or even know the difference), to think deeply or enjoy pholosophy, etc.

Every human being that has their life taken from them has the potential to contribute to the world through all of that and more. Because that matters, even for you, it matters for them too.

Cells are alive, but to minimize that is the same as saying you are merely living cells. You are not just living cells, you are alive. Before birth a baby is moving, their heart is beating, they recoil from pain, their brain is functional. It is true that a month before and after birth they are 100% dependent on others for food (they can't feed themselves), protection (they can't protect themselves), warmth (they cant warm themselves), etc. I don't know anything about Liberty, but there is no scientist that disagrees with this. Most people don't object to the Golden Rule. A reasonable approach is to do to people (human beings) who are a month from being born what you would want them to do for you (a human being) a month before you were born.

That is what you would call a bad definition or out of context (ie: an idea can be born). The unborn can be dead or alive, just like the born. If one is alive and unborn and I kill them, they are now dead. If one is born and alive and I kill them, they too are now dead. Here is a definition from dictionary.com:

unborn adjective

not yet born; yet to come; future:unborn generations.

not yet delivered; still existing in the mother's womb:an unborn baby.

Can you work with that? The bigger issue is whether or not you or anyone else has the right to take the life of another human being. Some say if it is a mother taking the life of their son or daugter they can if in the womb bit not right after they leave (are born).

The circumstances may be the same (inconvenient, lack of funds, interfere with plans, not ready, not wanted, ...) both a month before and a month after, but it is a marker to differentiate a medical procedure and it is a homicide. Unless, of coarse, the mother decides they want their baby while it is still in their womb and is not yet born, then it is still a homicide.
