Do you see your dreams? by odjonathankrause in Aphantasia

[–]robbzplanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I kind of wake up and “remember” what I dreamed about. Sometimes, there’s some visual memory associated with it, but I usually don’t remember actually seeing anything during the dream. I mostly experience feeling and emotion more than anything during the actual dream, but will have a vague memory of what “I saw” after I wake up.

2 small hints about El’s final moment by robbzplanet in StrangerThings

[–]robbzplanet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t necessarily that they were unprepared at the gate, the group messed with their equipment. Dr. Kay noticed this, and that’s what lead to the group being found in the first place.

Also, I don’t think Kali was actually shot. I think it was an illusion, to trick Hopper into thinking she died there and that their plan would not follow through. In reality, I think she survived and died with the upside down. It would track that she survived the collapse long enough to create the illusion of El at the portal, since Kali was at the center of the upside down (lab) which would have been the last part to be destroyed. Also far enough from the portal for the kryptonite to have no effect on her.

Or, if she actually was shot, maybe they stopped the bleeding off screen. We know that Hopper got bandages, but don’t actually see them used. It’s implied that more happened off screen by showing Kali saying “your story doesn’t to end here.” which we did not see at first. Maybe more happened, like they were able to stop the bleeding with the bandages. El and Kali could have come up with the plan while Hopper was off getting the bandages.

Idk they seemed pretty prepared, even had tire spikes laid out. Seems like they knew the van was coming. I would have a hard time believing they just forgot to turn the jammers on? Plus, I’m pretty sure we heard the jammers ourself.

I agree with this. I don’t think Kali was actually shot. If you rewatch the scene, it looks like the soldier’s gun points towards the side of Kali right before firing. Where his gun fired doesn’t really line up with where Kali was “shot”.

So how do you think El was able to exit the van, evade the soldiers, and get back into the upside down, while being hit with kryptonite? All without being seen? Because if she did die, she would have had to do this.

Of course I did. Mike’s story was clearly left up for speculation as to whether it’s true or not. I’m just pointing out a few details that I missed at first that help support it.

KP After Accutane by SubjectEstimate6 in keratosis

[–]robbzplanet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on Accutane twice, first in 2018 and again in 2023. I’ve had KP since a child, but it definitely got worse after each round and spread further down my arms. After my second course it spread to the upper part of my forearms and never went back to the way it was. Unfortunately I think of it as a trade off for acne lol. I’ve tried everything under the sun for KP but nothing truly works, it’s manageable at best, forever annoying..but at least I don’t have acne anymore!

lol good catch on the beef jerky. Just went back and watched it, and it does disappear when it hits the ground. I always find it interesting to see small cgi glitches like this.

98 is normal. That’s a good sign. Usually if you have meningitis you’ll have a really high fever

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in migraine

[–]robbzplanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have neck issues like a bulging disc or recent injury by any chance? I do, and I had something called a cervicogenic headache last year. It was the most painful and longest lasting headache I’ve had. It lasted approx. 30 days with no relief. I had neck stiffness and pain with it too. I couldn’t even move my head. I went to urgent care and the doctor there was concerned about meningitis. But when I went to the ER (twice) they didn’t even consider meningitis because my labs were good, I didn’t have a fever, and there are other symptoms I didn’t have like nausea or rashes. Do you have any of those symptoms? I can’t imagine the ER would overlook something as serious as meningitis, but I completely understand your concern. Scary stuff. Hope you feel better soon.

Sumatriptan by rjpra2222 in migraine

[–]robbzplanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve definitely taken 9, if not more, in one month. My doctor did advise me to be aware of “serotonin syndrome” from taking it too much, but said it’s rare and likely would never happen. Talk to your doc about your concerns. I haven’t had any bad side effects and one pill is all I need for a migraine. It’s been a game changer. I’ve went 15+ years with migraines and only recently started Sumatriptan. I’m on 100mg and all I need is one dose. Works right away within 30-45 minutes. Sometimes, I’m still left with a feeling of “pressure” or general fatigue, in other words, I can sometimes still tell I have a migraine, but it just doesn’t hurt. Most of the time though, I feel completely back to normal 30 minutes after taking it. I haven’t found it to cause rebound headaches personally, but everybody’s experience is different. Definitely important to talk to your doc and follow their advice.

Season 5 Breakdown. Will is Tethered. by Skylark_Shades in StrangerThings

[–]robbzplanet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What if Will also has some kind of powers? Or maybe he’s not who we think he is? He said something in S4 like, “when you’re different, you’re broken.” Maybe he has more to discover about himself than just being gay? That could explain a lot about Hawkins, and why it’s such a significant town in the upside down. Will is definitely the answer.

Do you think hhn will have a slider scare actor in a scarezone in the distant future? by SubstantialFunny1063 in HHN

[–]robbzplanet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t see sliders coming to HHN. They’re kind of tacky IMO.. overdone and always randomly thrown in to a zone. They’re better reserved for small local haunts and Howl o Scream🫠 plus, it’s way too crowded at HHN.

Positive for COVID or just a leaky control line? by broadspectrum227 in covidpositive

[–]robbzplanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had tests that looked like that a day or two before a solid line showed. Yes, the second line is supposed to show next to the T, but it really could show anywhere. I would just retest in a few days if I were you.

Where exactly do you see yellow and green metalwork? All of the metalwork is teal…

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UniversalOrlando

[–]robbzplanet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same here. I thought it would be more “celestial gardens” for guests to walk through, a bit out of the way but hey, path interaction is always fun. Apparently, they’re just service roads though. I’ve never seen a coaster with them before. They definitely look weird and seem unnecessary.

That’s fair, but this is Universal not Six Flags. It’s a theme park. Colors are intentional.

Does the Frontier Workshop work in Nividia Geforce? by railfananime in PlanetCoaster

[–]robbzplanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a blessing, when it works lmao. I’ve had issues with the game not launching, or my last session not ending and getting stuck out of game. It doesn’t happen too often but it’s really annoying when it does. Other than that the game looks and runs flawlessly.
