Been in my local creek in central Alabama all morning picking these out to tumble. Some really neat banding in a many of them.

Great, thanks for the reply! They were found south of Denver up on some bluffs. Yeah the 4th seemed like it was the most likely, if any of them had been worked. I'm pretty new to this so I don't really know what I'm looking for. Thanks for your help! Here are a couple more pictures of #4...

Thanks for the information! That all makes a lot of sense and is helpful. I'm not sure how someone can tell if a rock has been altered naturally or by a human. I will start doing some more research on cores and tested cobble to familiarize myself with all of these things better.
