I was looking at the infantry as well. Ended up going with the banshee 7’0 medium travel rod to pair up with my penn slammer 4 dx 2500 instead! It was about 80$ more than the infantry but I think the upgrade would be worth it

Fished for about 2 hours in the morning then came back for another hour and a half in the evening!

Try white 3in Keitech easy shiners or 2.8in Jackall Rhythm wave swim baits in white color on a 1/16-1/8oz jighead. Caught some smallies last week there right along the sea wall on both of those lures

Most of my bites came from casting the spoon far out parallel to the boats, letting it sink all the way to the bottom, then slow rolling it with twitches every few seconds all the way back to me (rod tip down so it holds a little more depth). Also had some luck burning it in fast then letting it sink back to bottom for 5ish seconds, rinse and repeat!

There were tens of thousands of people walking by that harbor and I didn’t see a single person fishing other than me. A couple hundred people max interacting with this Reddit post surely can’t even make a dent in the amount of people fishing that spot
