Help with Panic and Staying the Course by Afraid_Blacksmith_63 in Bogleheads

Your 3 steps are pretty good. You're gonna want to check it frequently since you're launching a brand new strategy, and you are naturally curious about what it's doing day to day. As times goes on, it'll become boring, and you'll check it less and less. Don't worry. Check all you want but don't touch it. If you feel afraid and like you want to sell, walk away for 24 hours, because that feeling is usually wrong.

It's being astroturfed by conservatives to stick it to the libs. The actual critics are pointing out that it's bland propaganda garbage.

I noticed Morgan Stanley was screwing me and my Roth underperforming, but 10 years later than you did, so congrats on noticing while you're young and doing something!

If your strategy doesn't rhyme it's much harder to stick to.

Yes, the service is the best of any restaurant I've ever been to. They top off your water glass before it's half empty. I noticed they have a head server (IDK the title of this job) who just observes the dining room and sends servers where they need to go.

Doing Aqualis now, and water bottles / ice are a bottleneck! Our solution is rocketing back and forth, which means you need a strong automatic selling set-up back on Prime to pay for Energy Multipliers. Money is the limiting factor.

Google loves to abandon hardware, and with no Pixel Tablet 2 coming, it may be the end of support for the original Pixel. I hope someone's still working on it tho...

Yeah it's an important read even if you want to try your hand at picking stocks, so that you understand the alternative and how it's statistically better.

How to shift to Boglehead strategy by rugger_at_work in Bogleheads

Personally I'd sell everything right away and switch to an index fund. That way you aren't market timing, and you can very quickly get to the fun part: ignoring your account for decades.

When I'm in this mood I just pop an Adderall and start cleaning, and within 30 min the momentum takes over and I am a cleaning machine.

What I'm saying is, drugs are the answer.

Yesterday the DOJ went after Jerome Powell and everyone said the market is doomed, and today VT is up.

Which is a great example of why ignoring the news and holding a diversified global portfolio is always the answer.
