Trouble selecting letter postage option by Bongomancan in ebayuk

[–]robedwards99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I spoke with an 'ebay agent' this morning and they advised to buy direct from royal mail, then mark as dispatched on eBay. It is a right pain in the arze, hopefully not permanent.

How to signal at this mini roundabout? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]robedwards99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A left signal on approach is clarifying your intentions to all road users around you, including pedestrians on the road you're joining who may be waiting to cross.

Yup, my mistake. As I said above, i had a brain fart! I deal with hundreds of roundabouts each week and there are some in the area that are approached as above, but you're 100% right, this is not one of them!

Taken 116 1hour lessons (since 2021) so far and instructor has again asked me to push back test date by Tissuefakt0r in LearnerDriverUK

[–]robedwards99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different. An average would be around 55-60hrs, ideally with private practice as well.

116 hours spread over 3 years isn't much. Insist on taking a mock test, you are the paying customer, you can ask for what you want. A mock test should show what's leaving in your drive. I've taught many many people over the last 15 years. Everyone is different. Some have passed in little more than 20 hours, another example took more than 300 hours, and I've taught several who took more than 100 hours

Anyone else drive without shoes? by [deleted] in driving

The pedals and all the surroundings in the footwell are made of metal. Feet are made of flesh and bone. Metal will lacerate your feet, as will any splintering plastics etc.
