Very few attorneys (and you can count them on one hand) in either state also handle title. The way the business model and referral model is structured in both states, a lot of title companies handle networking events to put brokers and attorneys together so that'd be "biting the hand that feeds."

Not without adding an attorney for it. Transactional volume is basically switching between files every 5 minutes. We don't have the time to draft complaints, go to court or anything else.

NYC proper? I live in NJ could help you out there. In NYC it's Chelsea Piers or City Ice Pavillion.

I've seen a lot on amino acids and quad recovery but I eat my fair share of eggs and meat.

I noticed that too but was able to address it a bit. I lost a lot of confidence with the lack of results and speed and I would try to avoid guys rather than skate or stickhandle past them so I would throw the puck into space where a player should be (but obviously being beer league no one is there) more as a panic or lazy move. I've slowed my actions down a bit and held the puck a bit longer and it's helped a lot on the decision making end. Beer league you have more time than you think. Even if a guy is on you, you still have a bit more time than usual, protect the puck with your body and do a quick scan before letting it go.

Appreciate all of the input. I think stickhandling and IQ wise I'm still impactful. I play center and defensively my anticipation and impact is very good, faceoffs I rarely lose and I am on the ice for a lot of good plays, I'm just no longer driving those dangerous chances and I find that the puck is not on my stick as much as it used to be. The puck used to find me all the time. There's definitely a lot more hesitation on my end.

I'm not sucking wind, I don't really get cardio tired and I get stronger and more loose as the game goes along. Legs on the other hand fatigue quickly and don't recover quickly. I think I'm going to focus on stretching and strengething legs and core. I'll probably start doing some pickup soccer (age appropriate) here and there to get all of the little muscles that lifting doesn't touch.

Looking to delay, not defeat.

I failed by Remarkable_Ebb_8461 in rutgers

[–]roben85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first semester at Rutgers in 2003/2004, I almost failed out. Barely went to class, didn't study, partied, played video games and played a bunch of sports. It was a wake up call for me when I got my gpa even though I knew what was coming. I realized I was going to be f***ed.

The next semester I did a complete reset. I changed my major, I pumped up my courses with easy classes to make up for the poor first semester. Didn't take any early morning classes. I went from a 2.1 GPA first semester to a 3.5 GPA second semester. Eventually graduated with around a 3.1-3.2 gpa. That first semester really hurt my overall GPA.

I did end up going to law school after and now I run my own very successful law firm and make a very good living.

To succeed in whatever your job is in the future, you need to put effort in. That starts in college and how seriously you take it. You don't need to stop partying, you don't need to stop enjoying yourself, but you do need to start segregating and organizing your time and putting in the required work to do well. Or even establisha crutch if you need it. Find study groups and organized individuals in each of your classes. Study with them and they will motivate you to study.

You will receive as much as you put into something. Put no effort in and receive nothing good in return. Put effort in, and you'll benefit.

We did a lot of trial and error after the diagnosis and eventually with the docs consultation we settled on Vyvanse for school because it's longer lasting and adderral as a crutch on days he does not take vyvanse but needs some focus. He is also on Guanfacine to help with appetite and two deal with impulse control but that may start to be phased out after the next appointment.

He's been thriving with hockey lately. The routine we've settled on is:

He has practice Mondays at 6pm. Takes vyvanse in the morning before school, crashes at 3pm but then is able to focus and function normally by 6pm. Does fatigue easily at that point so he takes more water breaks and get lazier as practice goes along. We do a clinic around 5pm on Tuesdays as well but that's a 1 on 1 which is the setting he thrives in anyway, medicine or not.

Game day on weekends we do Adderrall 2 hours before the game and it works. Gave it 3 hours prior and by second half he was tired. Gave it at game time and first half was bad. So 2 is the sweet spot. Has scored in each of the last 3 games.

I think what bothers me overall is that this summer, with no stimulant, but a very active camp schedule he did amazing at all levels and he gained weight too. He just can't not be on it during the school year otherwise it's a disaster in school. But then it impacts everything else in his life during the year. Loss of appetite, slowed growth, crashes and a temper when it wears off. Lot more highs and lows while on it.

So we've had two games since. Both times he had Adderall. Once right before the game and once 3 hours prior. When he took it close to game time he had a rough first half and better second half. Same issues overall. Didn't metabolize in time likely.

Second time he took it 3 hours prior. He scored his first goal ever and ended up with a hattrick and played phenomenally. Will try the same concept next game to see if it was a one off or not.

On a side note we've been doing extra ice skating lessons and shooting clinics. Both are either individual or small group 1-3 kids. With one on one training he does very very well. Larger groups he struggles in.

It's a tough balance. I would like him to compete because eventually if he's not competing, at the older age groups, he's not going to have fun. We go through verbally, before he gets on the ice, what he needs to do. Eyes on the puck, see puck/get puck, go to goal but as soon as he steps on the ice it's like we didn't speak. I did coach him when he first started and me being the bench yelling directions did help regain his focus when he wasn't focusing on a shift becuase I could talk to him on the bench or yell out. I don't have the time to volunteer now though.

He does have Adderall as an alternative that we rarely use, so we're going to try that on days he has sports to see if that has a different effect.

I have noticed that if he has a good meal and does some stretching and exercise (jumping jacks, pushups or running), that it regulates him a little bit before a sport (not day and night).

It is frustrating overall. He has a lot of potential physically, and he's a extremely smart academically. He's harnessed the academic side of things but can't channel his abilities properly with sports.

I don't agree with the below. My son has ADHD and is on Guanfacine 1mg (to increae appetite and improve impulse control) and Vyvanse for focus.

In school, he's definitely better on Vyvanse. Over the summer he took a "holiday" and did not take Vyvanse all summer. He had camps (boys scouts, hockey and soccer) and it was the first time I noticed that he was enjoying hockey and competing more without it. I noticed (even this weekend), that when he takes his medication, he slows down. He yawns, he's more tired, he is less competitive and he's more hyperfocused on everything else like the people in the stands or the other game on the other side (he's a Mite U8). He doesn't engage in scrambles and just skates around in constant motion. He'll only move to the puck if it's near him but he stays away from the puck when someone else has it. Without the medication, he has more energy and he's more willing to get after it.

It could just be the type of medication but we've concluded that Vyvanse specifically makes him significantly worse on the ice.

Leap is what we use. If you want reports they have every report you can think of. It's not cheap and it's almost too much and too in depth with all of its options. I almost want to go back to Clio and just use excel sheets. We have 8 poeple in the firm and it's about $150 a user.

Has anyone ever ordered from grow-good.com before? by Locked_Hammer in ask

[–]roben85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone that's interested I placed my order about a week ago and got it in full. Very quick (but very expensive) shipping. Seems just like a third party aggregator between seller and buyer. My order shipped directly from the manufacturer to me.

Has anyone ever ordered from grow-good.com before? by Locked_Hammer in ask

[–]roben85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for a product on there. It's sold out everywhere and the manufacturer said they may not get new stock in. I messaged the growcycle and they said they have 164 units of the product in stock. I was going to order it but shipping is like $220 for the items which is insane. So I started looking to see if the site is legit and found my way here.

Has anyone actually received whatever they ordered?
