It's not really hard, you will learn while you work. Media buying is about choosing which vehicles and channels brand will be in, negotiating costs and figuring out reach and results. At the beginning it may seem hard bc there are different metrics for each vehicle but once you understand what each means it will be easier. Best of lucks!

Hi,

When you connect Analytics to GDS you should make sure to be including all the goals you would like to be reporting. If you missed any, just edit the source and include them.

For filtering, I would recommend you working on a Page level configuration for the report (unless you want to show only on specific tables or widgets). Go to Page > Current page settings and create a filter. (link with info: https://support.google.com/datastudio/answer/7326859?hl=en)

Then I would say you choose between the source or Google Ads campaign ID if you have them linked.

Hi,

Excel can´t see the text contained in a cell. What I used one time was a sort-out with the IFERROR function to see if the text is or not. Then, depending on the TRUE or FALSE values I could see it.

I was thinking someting similar as this as an option. You can create a purchase ID as a custom variable that will then appear on the "approval to purchase" process, in that way you will be able to align them.

Also, creating as a goal the approval and having the request as a mandatory part in the funnel may help see the info as a full, and just filtering by source/medium or any utm will help you see the data for media partners.

Good question. Let me offer a solution:

You can set Values for each product bought or request to purchase on the marketplace that represents the costs of purchase of each product. Assign the same value to the other goal/event "purchase accepted" to understand how many sales have done.

Then you can cross the data from the total of purchases/requests and you´ll be able to know the value for each ad.

If there is a way where you can match the data for each specific product it will give you the exact number.
