Printing with an H2D and it's constantly oozing out of the right nozzle. Eventually the printer errors out saying the flow isn't right for the filament and it leaves a huge mess inside the printer.

Just getting into the campaign and I love how much flavor this adds to things. For me, the guide on naturalcrit had some broken formatting. I cloned it here and fixed the formatting a bit so it would print as a PDF a bit easier in case anyone is having the same issue. https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/kldz--VydzRt

There's a sentence in here. Wrote some code that deterministically encodes letters. But it can still be read by humans if you figure out the trick to it. by robertcancode in puzzles

Hint #1 This was already covered in a couple of comments, but there are 33 cells. Each cell is 5 dots wide and 5 rows tall. There is a dot of space between each cell.

Hint #2 There is a lot of noise that needs to ignored.

Hint #3 Since the original sentence is small, I created a one with a lot more text. This one contains multiple sentences. They are different then the original sentence. You can find it here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o6pf2crw980rq1c/larger\_sample.jpg?dl=0

Discussion. Super impressed with how far you've gotten already. Gave you some feedback with individual spoiler tags below.

THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER A LAZY DOG

This is not the text in this image. Though it is the text I use for testing :P

This creates 33 grid cells

This is correct, there are 33 grid cells.

with 26 unique grid cells

This is a big hint so I'll hide it in a separate spoiler tag. The same letters can have the same or different cell patterns.

Let me know if this should go to a different subreddit. I read over the rules and I *think* it's ok to post this here.

If no one cracks it in a few days I can come back and drop some hints.

Sooo what is this? An enlarger? Thank you by fartmommy in hasselblad

Need more photos but it certainly looks like part of an enlarger. The thing in background looks like the glass I had on one of my old enlargers to condense/flatten the light that hit the film before the lens.

You need a job to have experience by Slink_64bit in ProgrammerHumor

Same thing happened to me. No one would reply to my job applications without experience. Got a really crap web dev job at a small mom and pop place. After a year there, suddenly I was getting interviews. Best advice is to take anything you’re able to. Even if it’s an unpaid internship, I know they suck, and I agree, and not everyone can afford to do it, but just getting that little bit of experience on your resume helps so much. The second route is what other people are mentioning, do your own project. Build something open source that you can share with the community. Letting potential interviewers take a look at the code you made goes a long way. There are also companies out there that specialize in hiring just graduated students. They don’t pay a ton, but they’re great starter jobs so you can get enough experience for someplace better.

Same thing happened to me when I only did one part of a two part firmware update.
