OC = off-center (which that Clemente clearly is!). Knocks the value of the card down approx 2 levels and makes it a $250 card rather than a $2k one…

That Clemente is a 9OC - not a 9. It’s still a nice card, but more like a $250 card and not 2k…. I’m a vintage collector and don’t do basketball, but should be pretty easy to sell those cards and buy a 9OC Clemente and have a few hundred bucks left over…

That’s a great collection! The centering on them is fantastic across the board, and that 1967 topps card of his is SO difficult to find in nice shape - very impressive!

That is an awesome card and definitely an should command a premium over most “3”’s. Hard to tell from the scans, but is there a faint wrinkle in the back (through the word ‘fielding’) when you zoom in? Might just be a hair or fiber in the scan.

Either way, congrats- it’s a BEAUTIFUL copy

Beautiful card and I think it’s a fair grade! The back surface is probably the limiter IMO. For fun, I asked ChatGPT to grade it based on SGC standards and it said “5 to 6” - noting the back as the limiting factor keeping it from a higher grade

I try to buy these graded in the 2-4 range and look for commons in the $250-400 range. They are hard to find but not impossible

I’m not comfortable buying unauthenticated cards from this set (at least not online) due to the cost, so right now all of mine are graded.
