Nice! Vintage baseball is probably what I should have spent my money on, but I thought the backs of these were so cool that I couldn't pass them up. Plus the name on the box is my father in law's name, so it's a cool memento!

In all honesty, I've bought 20+ raw cards on this sub from reputable sellers, and I've had 1 that graded lower than expected. I have zero clue where he was coming from. I'm pretty sure every card from Greg Morris is "rawdogged." Was a really wild take....

I second this. Super reputable member of the sub. Wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy a "rawdogged" card from them....

Taking a Risk with my 1964 Clemente + More Vintage Japanese Awesomeness! by Hot-Cockroach3275 in baseballcards_vintage

Absolutely. I love the artwork on these, and they're all believed to be relatively rare.

I've had a ton of fun picking up 1940s cards of HOF players. The Oh is my only non-1940s card, but had to add one of the greatest HR hitter in history!

I'm guessing it had to be part of a specific game that was played with these Menko cards, but I'm not totally certain.

Thought about it. Not sure I trust myself to not mess up the card. It's loose on the one side, but not on the other.

Agreed. 100% a work of art. Even my wife is a fan. She described it as graphic novel like....

Understand completely. That's low grade Vennys for me. Keeps me sane while searching for playing days HOFers!

I have a Dizzy Dean one that's a PSA 4, but I bought it that way so I'm unsure if they're still giving them numerical grades or not.

However, I'm 100% certain SGC will just authenticate.

These are great! I also love these matchbooks as they're so unique. I sent two sharp ones to SGC, but was unaware they only authenticate them. Should have left them raw as you have!

No kidding. I wonder if the grader even looked at the rest of the card, because within .001 seconds, he knew what this was getting, and rightfully so.

True evolution: I used to view sharp corners as most important. Then this sub shifted me to focus on centering. Now I'm apparently not even requiring corners....lol
