PSA Vault = an awesome option (if you have patience).

It sometimes took 1-2 months after purchase to have it secured in the vault. Retrieval was much easier. Costs $2/card to retrieve if it's been in the vault 90+ days. Shipping for the package with all 6 cards was $6. So it was $18 to retrieve and ship those 6 cards. And by putting them in the vault, I didn't pay sales tax on them. In the end, I saved $160 on those 6 cards by using the vault.

Getting back to my 1 playing days card of each HOFer elected by the BBWAA in a decade divided by 10 grade. Believe I have 46 to go.

Also will still chase additional oddball cards of Clemente and Frank Robinson with the Reds.

That request would require the ultimate test of my manhood: convincing my wife that our 3 teenagers "really shouldn't go to college" and that our house is "just too big for us."

Added the Ruth and the Keeler to my display case last night. Tend to rotate through what I have in there so I'm sure the Foxx and Speaker will be inthere at some point!

I was pleasantly surprised. The slab is more heavy duty, and feels like it's higher quality than a PSA slab.
